Yes, the objects could be extraterrestrial. But it could also be just some 12-year-old (with a creative sense of humor and basic programming skills) who mounted bright LEDs on his re-programmed quadcopters. I don't think we'll ever know for sure.

One of my sisters and other brother were driving there car when they had a close encounter it followed them for a couple of mile then shot over a lake besides our house. they phoned the police station reported it and they were told that there had been lots of reports of it in the same area shaped like a cart wheel covered in lights. my sis laughed at the thought of ufo's until see seen for herself:)
