Forgive me for saying but its rather odd that you dont comment on the recitation but have hours to debate about matters that you have no knowledge about. i read my prayers at The centre and i find it surprising that other masjids read 20 rakat tarawee and 17 rakat of isha prayer yet finish within the hour! that works out no more than 1min 30 per two rakat of prayer. quality or quantety?, no harm in 20 or 8 as the prophet pbuh did.
Yet you cannot understand that this like many other video's are presented so that the audience can listen to some beautiful recitation. Not for the for a debate about who is right and who is wrong.

Brother no disrespect but the hadith narrated by ayesha RA (bukhari) refers to nigth prayers which is known as tahajjud, in this hadith it says the prophet never use to pray more than 11 rakats either in ramadan or outside ramadan, my question to you is, are there any taraweeh prayers outside of ramadan? this means aisha RA was indeed talking about tahajjud and not ramadan, if this was the the case why dont people who use this hadith as proof for taraweeh pray taraweeh outside of ramadan.
in macca they read 8 rakats+3 for witr until the lats 10 days
there is a hadeeth narratetted by ayesha
that the phophet pbuh
used to read up to 11 rakats during their time in rammadan and no more ,its not until abu bakr sadiqque ask all followers to gather for a pray wich woz tarahwee
but obvioulsy there is no peoblems with reading more as stated by the other brother bellow

As-salaamu 'alaykum. Maashallah, its so beautifull! and theirs no harm in praying 8 +3 witr, actual it is the authentic sunnah attributed to the prophet, peace be upon him himself, but if you wish to pray more , then thier is no harm in that as reported by many actions of his companions some prayed 20 30 more. and the goal of the night prayer is not stressed on the unit of prayers but the quality of the prayer, the long standing, bowing and prostration. And Allah is the granter of success.

This masjid only prays 8 rakat taraweeh which does not exist as opposed to the only 20 rakat. i suggest they look deeper in to thier aqida and hadith becuase in the masjid al haram, madinah and masjid al aqsa all pray 20 and these places will never go astray as Allah himself will protect them to the day of qiymah. Brothers if im wrong about 8 rakats taraweeh please prove its existance via hadiths, i am only trying my best to convey the right and correct message to everyone.
