  • Like a hot knife thru butter with works out to an inch per second!

  • This is a pretty accurate vid of this saw. I have the same one. It should have a 16 inch bar tho. If you hang it in with the pics it will stop the chain. Its a nice saw tho. very reliable.

  • Hi i have the same chainsaw why do people always cut there logs in thin circles is it for fire wood

  • @MrATF85 No. It's not for fire wood. People cut small thin circles when showing people how fast the saw cuts. Don' t know who started it, but i just followed along!

  • If only I had something to cut with my saw lol. My old McCulloch pretty much took care of most of the problem trees on my property.

  • @workensmart Yep! Our whole property was cleared back in the 80's with a 23 year old Jonsered 535. Still runs, and is used today.

  • @DShinskey New saws are nice an all but older saws last longer. They may not cut as fast or have the same power but they sure were harder to kill.

  • @workensmart Yup The old one certaintly doesn't rev as high as it use to, or have the broad power unless you rev the piss out of it. I use it to cut skids, and when my father likes to cut up trees with me. I fitted an 18" bar on it.

  • go big or go home

  • learn how to make a proper back cut

  • i own a 445 and cleared 14 acres with it....love the thing

  • @joehara123 Treat them right and they will run forever! We have a 22 year old Jonsered 540 thatcleared all our land and we still use it.

  • @DShinskey do the husqvarnas come with a sharpeing kit

  • @1840218403 no

  • @DShinskey do the husqvarnas come with a sharpeing kit

  • @1840218403 Maybe. Mine did not. You can buy them separately. Pretty cheap.

  • good sharpenned this saw does good, but I have 38cmbar in my sachs 115 and it is 3,7 HP so.If you go at dry birch with 445 it may take some time to buck it.check me fucking with dry birch on a chain that my mom literally speaking made touch the ground to the extreme:) Warning! Never let your mom touch your gear :)))

  • i would flip my 45cmbar for 38 in my H445.

  • @mckozlik ???

  • @DShinskey put a smaller bar on his 445

  • Yeah, it's pretty small of chain saw, handy for the small things, mainly everything I have needed to cut with it, I have been able, even about a 30 " downed once before, but it takes it's time..

  • actually, the bar is 14in, just found that out today, was under the impression it was a 16in bar.

  • @MrShannon888 That's freakin small!

  • I have a Husqvarna 235 chainsaw, with a 16in blade, that I believe I would have a hard time cutting it down with..lol I don't know that I would ever even try to cut that large oak, but I believe a larger saw, may help...lol

  • The powerlines would possibly have to be taken down, they aren't ride beside it, but it is so large, and tall, that it could take them out, they are across a creek beside the road, and the other powerline is the one from the main line, to the house. So the main line, and our house line. The Tree is truly large, I took a yard stick up beside it,and it maybe around 6ft " in diameterat at the base. I measured the other downed tree, that was 22in by 30in in diameter with the yard stick.

  • There is one very large red oak in the yard, that needs cut, because it is too close to the house, it appears to be over 6ft in width, and has two large oaks sprining out near the base, but appears to be one Huge Red Oak, it is covered in vines too,and the tree service guy, said he wouldn't even try it. It has powerlines on two sides, and a house on the third, leaving only one open space for it to fall. The closest anchor tree is maybe 200ft, or more, that could POSSIBLY be used to anchor it to.

  • 48 ", yea that is about the biggest, but there are some that may exceed that, that I may cut in the future but rarely. I am not a logger, either. This is just maintenance, where I live, neighbors, road, firewood, etc..There is a downed Oak at the end of the property now, I went, and measured it, 30"-22" in diameter, it is ovel in shape, with some parts larger than 30", and more round near the base. It is a large tree, but no 42-44" that was cut this past spring, right beside the house.

  • @MrShannon888 Sounds like you need to have a friend with a big saw cut those up, a professional guy, or you better save up cuz you're going to need a big ass Husky! You would be looking into the Professional category for husky saws.

  • @DShinskey tht saw is a beast for a little saw

  • @kalob35 Yeah, I know!

  • @MrShannon888 get a 395 xp

  • thanks for the video, how well does it do with 20"-48" large Red Oaks ? Yes, 48 " Diameter from time to time..

  • @MrShannon888 Honestly couldn't tell you right now. The saw is 1 day old, 3 tanks of gas ran through it since yesterday. Only has an 18 inch bar on it. Says you can go up to a 20" inch. If you're thinking of going that big, 48", you might want to think about a bigger saw.
