  • Can u show me where model number on logic board? I can't find mine

  • @snbotoinsane03 - The model number isn't on the logic board. It is on the bottom case.

  • In 0:29, what that kind of tape? What is it for?

  • @kubaslonka - That isn't tape. It is a connector cable.

  • @PowerbookMedic whatever. What is it for? What parts does it connects? Where is bluetooth module?

  • @kubaslonka - That cable connects the top case to the logic board.

  • @PowerbookMedic Its connect keyboard underlight or a bluetooth module? Where the bluetooth module is anyway?

  • Can you replace a logic board of the same model with a better logic board with a faster processor?

  • @lexshimmy - You can only upgrade the board if it is from the same model number and generation. If several speeds were offered when you purchased your machine, you can only upgrade between those options.

  • how to you clean and our replace the led back light for the keys?

  • @daspecialist1220 - You'd need to replace your top case assembly if you are having a key backlight issue.

  • @PowerbookMedic

Do you know if you can change the color of the backlight/apple logo? Just for fun :D.

On a serious note, if I were to buy the exact 2.66 ghz logic board for my model and replace the 2.4 ghz one currently in my macbook pro 13", are there any problems I should anticipate?

  • How did you remove the iSight, bluetooth and airport cable? When I replaced my crack screen glass, I completely destroyed the connector of the iSight, bluetooth and airport cable on the logic board when pulled it off. The metal piece on top of the connector and both side of the plastic that house the connector came off. Now, my screen is fixed, but the bluetooht, iSight camera and keyboard lights is not working
