  • Oh, he's a doll.

  • Its a baby llama and a guinea pig mixed!

  • Turn caplin around and let him breast feed he's hungry.

  • what kind of animal r they again?/???

  • simply looking for her mom´s tit :)))

  • They think you are playing when you bump them in the nose. And just dangling your finger infront of her mouth is teasing her, you cant bop her on the nose; and then shove the finger in her face. "They are semi-aquatic and their skin can dry out and crack without water, so even indoor pets should be allowed to swim at least once a day. " Also, are you letting her swim once a day? Not to be a bitch, but... it's like putting a cookie in her face and telling her to eat it, then saying NO!

  • my mom would freak out. It reminds me of a rat.

  • I want one :(

  • You haz a flavor lol

  • i want it

  • ADORABLE....I can't stand the cuteness.

  • What the heck do these things eat!?!

  • @Mushy276 Human brains. Oh, and KFC buckets.

  • three words: I WANT ONE! out of curiosity how much r they? not tht im buying lol

  • lol so cute

  • I would like to have one but these are wild animals and I don't think I could keep up with anything this exotic. Really cute though!

  • yo quiero uno de esos!!!!!

  • do their teeth continuously grow like a rat or squirrels' teeth?

  • NO BITEY!

  • hate the fact when most people see these animals they think 'MEE ME, I WANT ONE, wah wah wah' yes its good to appreciate them but youve got to learn to do that from a distance and not thinking about them as a means of your benefit and entertainment.

  • @oli0880

Sorry, but do you live in a cave or spend your days hunting and gathering in the african savanna?

That is after all where we all originated.

How do you know an animal's life is not improved a hundredfold by living with humans?

I suggest you go and check survival rates for dogs, cats and even rats in captivity vs in the wild.

I apologise for the tone above, but I suspect the reality is that a loving home with humans is preferable to a diseased and fearful life in the wild.

  • @gotohell114

no my friend, you are wrong, not dumb i can see that, but wrong.

you need to distance yourself from what we have become and what we have created(us humans) in all technological realms..

and see that nature is what it is, and should be left to its own cause.

by that i mean these caplins belong in the wild,(not in our mundane closed walls) where they have flourished and yes cover your eyes if you want, been brutally killed by predators for their supper, but thats just how it goes in

  • @oli0880

Sorry but you have an incredibly romanticised view of 'the wild'.

You also sound like you hate your job and are projecting an escape dream.

Next time it rains, shelter under a tree.

If it gets cold, no clothes for you, maybe try and find a stone wamed by the sun.

Next time you get the smallest cut and it gets infected, just scratch at it. No doctors for you.

Or how about cancer? A lovely natural lasting painful death.

We can protect, heal, house and love our pets.

    They lose nothing.

  • @gotohell114 all youre going on is reassurance.. from the fact that there is now, and has been for a long time, a dominance of humanity over all other living things. and i just dont think its right, to enclose a tropical animal into a plain building. fair enough people are loving, but the only reason the whole 'pet' relationship works, is because the animals do not have a high as state of awareness as us, if they all did, and realized what was going on, we would have been chewed and spat out by

  • @oli0880 now, and that would surely be a waking call to all.. unless they all figured they could be greedy too, but still that would only end in conflict. so i hope you see im not running on a 'romanticised' view, but more rational than anything. try and view the world as if you were a visiting alien, cant hurt really

  • @oli0880 You did not address my (I think good) points at all.

My cat has cancer and her heart and kidneys are failing and have been for over a year.

You are saying that she would have been happier getting sicker and sicker and eventually likely killed in a terrifying chase as she became too slow to avoid predators, or lay down for a lasting painful death somewhere.

If they were anywher near as intelligent as humans it would be unconscionable, but they are not, so mentioning that is pointless.

  • @gotohell114

cont: in the wild.. no such thing as 9-5, rules, regualtions. just downright beautiful, chaotic harmony.

  • where did you get this? where do you live??? i live in north america and would like one

  • Does it hurt? I haven't got a capy so I don't really know...

  • where do you get capybaras as pets?! can you get them in america?!!

  • he/she thinks it's an utter

  • Where would one buy a capybara? I really want to have one as a pet

  • That is a very cute sound it makes ^^

  • What do capybaras eat?

  • @amankins from what ive seen fruit and Popsicles lol

  • oooohh ... hes soo cute ... ^^

  • That looks suspiciously like Justin Bieber!

  • @ZeiterfassungLogMyTi that is insulting

  • @warmaster949

    to the capybara

  • How much did you get Caplin for?

  • where can you get a capybara and how much it it be, im thinking about getting one

  • @bullzeye578 there about 400-800$ dollars now, and you need to have a HUGE pool for them, and there very hard to find, and they only bring 10 in America once every year.

  • just one question.... is caplin a boy or a girl??? and would you recomend a boy or a girl for a pet?

  • how'd u teach her not to bite?

  • @haydutraduke abuse??? because she lightly patted her on the nose???

the squeaks are normal communication - not pain in this case.

And the baby seemed pretty unimpressed by the pats!

The baby probably nibbles the fingers because our skin is salty, and they need salt. My guinea pigs did the same all the time...

  • Yeah, "soooo cute"... until they get bigger than your golden retriever.

  • my guinea pigs did the EXACT same thinngs !

  • except their not guinea pigs

  • its like part squirrel, part guenie pig, part hamster, and part beaver

  • no its better than all of thoes , and you can eat them ... its a capivara...

  • haha ... yes you can eat them ..yes i would eat some.. not this particular one because its to damm cute.. and no im not Chinese ha ,,,,im mexican ...; )

  • It's a huge roodent!

  • yeah but its sooo cute

  • OMG sooo cute looks more like a guenie pig when its a baby also sounds like one too sooo cute

  • if you put yoru finger in their throat then they do it it makes them gag, its a good deterrent

  • He sounds like a guinea pig :D

    I LOVES HIM!

  • aww, look how cute he is!

  • I want one!

  • It probably needs salt. Finger (human skin) is often salty, because of sweat, and rodents need salt.

You can buy a rodent salt stone. They bite it to get the salt from it, and this at the same time keeps their teeth worn in a proper way, so they never have to be cut.

Not sure how this applies to a rodent that big though, but you might wanna investigate it.

  • its like a puppy

  • OOOOOOOOhhhhhhh how sweet, and cute. Caplin is trying to suck on her thumb. Cute little baby. :-)

  • kawai!

  • dude hes too small he still wants to get milk from his mother thats why hes nibbling at everything :3 cute

  • Yeah, that sounds likely!

  • @kiminilove hei dinks ets a bubie

  • Oh he's so TINY!!!

  • it's a baby capybara =D

  • what is that animal?

  • He is a baby capybara. In this video he is about 1 month old.

  • capybara

  • Awh!!!! He wants to nurse still! SO CUTE!!!

  • capybara, FYI bub!

  • lol i didnt know there are such thing

  • How do you get a Capybara? o.o;

  • For more information on pet capybaras including where to get one, please see Caplin's new channel CaplinCapybara. We are no longer posting to this channel.

  • ohhhh so cute

  • is it leagal to own these?

  • It depends on where you live.

  • canada

  • I only want to know one thing....do the still poop pebbles when they are big? That would be a big freaking pebble. I bet if it is it is fun to throw at people. and even more interesting with a sling shot. "ha ha, you just got shot in the eye with rodent crap!!!!"

  • Caplin always poops in the water and his poop is soft so it would make a good projectile.

  • She's beautiful. Where on Earth did you get a capybara?

  • You can look at the channel information for CaplinCapybara. We're not posting to this channel anymore.

  • I love them, they remind me of giant Guinea Pigs! :-)

  • omg thats a cute capybara

  • I think I'm in love

  • wait seriously now ok!! Capybara's are my foavorite animal. I don't care if they are considered a rodent, how did you get one as a pet? Are you located in the US? I would prefer one over a dog.

  • Marvellous! I'm loving the wee noises she makes!

  • lucky u.have a such cutie at home :3

it's hard not to love her!

all the best to u and your pet:-)

i'm looking forward to watching new vids.

  • yeah,i know,and i wonder...where r u going to keep her when she'll be bigger.R u planning to give her her own room :P?

  • I don't think she'll need her own room. :) We're planning on letting her run around in the back yard in the day and letting her sleep inside at night. Lots of people have dogs that big and she'll actually be less trouble than a dog because capybaras don't need as much exercise.

  • kawaii! it is capibara,right?

  • yes, she's a capybara. She's still a baby. She'll get a lot bigger. :)

  • She is adorable! We want one!

  • Doesn't that thing have big teeth? Didn't that hurt?
