  • why didnt he shoot it?

  • Is too bad for SGU beacause is ending. This is the final season..too bad... they will make a movie about SGU how is ending bla bla bla

  • @CoggySimplu Doubt they'll make a movie as they don't have any funds.... even SGA and SG1movies have been canceled now

  • Well it's about time they start exploring new world again! It's been so long since they showed an episode where they explored a new world!

  • even out there on outher planets plants need to photosinthsize to grow which uses chloroplasts which is green thus + green trees but the shapes and sizes should differ

but at the end of the day it is only a tv program only. whish it wasnt going to be canceled

(my science facts might be wrong as its a long time since i was at school and learnt it lol)

  • Who says chloroplast on an alien planet wouldn't adapt to obsorb a different spectrum of light if that is what is prevelent. Really? Who cares what color the trees are? It's still a cool show.

  • @MrMartin2011 Who says that chloroplast on an alien planet wouldn't adapt to absorb light from a different part of the spectrum?

  • i really dont want them to cancel this show lol

  • cant wait for it!

  • is this a filler?

  • it's funny how all the forrests in the universe look exactly the same

  • @CIarKent and they didn't for SG1 or SGA? lol

  • @MrGibbsOfficial at least in SG1 and SGA they had a good explanation for it. apparently the ancients seeded life in the Milky Way and Pegasus galaxy. so that was a good explanation for why almost every planet with a stargate was similar to Earth

  • @CIarKent And since the Ancients weren't either from the Milky Way or Pegasus Galaxy, maybe they just picked up plants they liked during their travels or whatever. Maybe our plants aren't originally from here at all.

  • @KattyBlake Very True Katty, just like us we may not be from this planet what so ever :)

  • @KattyBlake what I said was mentioned in the shows so it's not a speculation that's canon information

  • @CIarKent I know it's canon, I've watched all the shows. But we also know that the Milky Way is not the Ancients' home galaxy, that's the Alteran Home Galaxy. And since none of the shows established WHERE EXACTLY is Alteran Home Galaxy, we MIGHT assume that the plants in our galaxy are not from here at all.

  • @CIarKent yea..would it really kills them to enhance the existing vancouver forests to look more alien like..i.e red.or purple tree trunks or leaves..if the gravity is high..then denser..smalller rounder trees..if the gravity is lower..then thinner longer trees..etc..

  • @lordmerlin10 yeah in sg1 I remember they had episodes in which they used cgi to "paint" all the vegetation to purple and stuff like that.

with today's tech it would be even easier to do effects like that so it shouldn't be difficult to make a planet look alien

  • @CIarKent really? which episodes did they do them in?

  • @lordmerlin10 I don't remember which episode but I clearly remember sg1 arriving to a planet with a purple forrest.

  • "They'll look even better slow roasted served up with some of beckers mash" LOL <3

  • Lookin good :) can't wait :)
