hello, yes it does i undersdtand crysis with the fps but the settings i have are set to high with no aa, bioshock on highest settings is about 30-40 fps and settlers with aa on max is about 10-20fps. i know aa kills some games but settlers is not a very graphical intense game.
I've had the psu changed and also the rampage motherboard!
The only thing i have not changed is the harddrive it is the oem hard drive from hp, i pruchased other things to build my pc but kept my hp hard drive, could some oem drivers or programs be effecting my gpu performance.

I started off with a sapphire hd4870z2 which i had changed about 3 times, then i thought it might be sapphire so i changed it for this gigabyte hd4870x2 but it still has the same problem
maybe you have the same problem like me. My motherboard is not compatible with the GPU and he limit the GPU( sorry for my english)i have a 4850 ( this week i will buy a q6600 and a new mobo :P)

Be sure you have connected the 6-pin and the 8-pin to the card. Both are required.
