  • Nice man. I'm planning on doing this, but had a question. What type of bulb do the lights in the back take? I'm referring to the ones that turn on when a back door is open. Thanks, and nice job.

  • @Equatis If you are talking about the trunk, it is a 194 bulb. If you are talking about the back passenger seats, I believe it is a 194 bulb as well, but i'm not sure. My camry does not feature the back passenger light bulbs.

  • HI rainerakarain, I wonder where i can buy map light lid, because when i changed it, i accidently broke lid. I want to replacement with new one.

  • so if i buy the led bulbs from somewhere, all i have to do is "plug" them in and they are good to go?

  • @Krome5555 Yes. As long as you don't buy LED bulbs for the turn signals, headlights, or brake lights, they are plug and play. The places mentioned in the last sentence need a resistor for the LEDs to work properly. The dome, shifter, glove box, courtesy door, reading, reverse, and trunk lights are all plug and play.

  • hey man are you led's the 5 led or 1 led or what? thanks!

  • Hi can please help... my car is a toyota venza... i dont know how to change the rear DOME LIGHT BULB... is not same with other dome light lens...there is two small cirle like in the airplane? how to change the bulb? i mean remove? thanks...

  • Your lighting videos were very helpful. New 08 Camry LE owner and TN member and this was just was looking for. Thanks for your efforts!

  • Can you purchase the LED at Autozone or Napa?

  • awesome video

    thanks

  • Hahah N96! Great Camera! Laggy phone =(

  • Sorry if this is sort of a dumb question but where can I get those 194 LED bulbs, just any store? Or are they bought online. Thanks

  • what about the one in the middle i have a sunroof in mine is it also a 194 bulb?

  • Yes those are 194 bulbs.

  • Did you use wled-x5 or wled-x6 for the reading lights and are those cool whtie bulbes?

  • I need help!

I can't take the bulb out! It's so small that I have no grib on it. Any suggestion on how to take them out?

  • Did you try using some pliers? Apply firm force and try to get them out. That should do the trick. If you want to be extra careful, try to cover the bulb first with a cloth, then use the pliers to apply a firm grip and get them out. Hope this works.

  • do you know if other 194 wedge bulbs will work? or does the size matter?

  • Other 194 bulbs will work as well. I just chose these bulbs because they angled well with the reflectors inside the reading lights.

  • are those the bulbs that look like little circuit boards?

  • Yes. They look like that to keep the incoming voltage low (transistor) so that the LED can use it correctly.

  • Thanks! The video was helpful. Took me about a minute.

  • No. But he is definitely a great guy to ask help from. He contributes to the forum a lot. Almost a celebrity actually.

  • are you netforecer from tn?

  • it's different from my 2010 camry se.how do i change the map light and dome light???

  • I had an aftermarket sunroof installed in my LE Camry and they moved the dome light all the way in the back leaving with little light in the front. Do you think it might be a good idea to drill a light in the center of the two maplights and splice the doom light cable? I just have having very little light.
