There was one case where God told the Levites to kill their own ppl. Evil had progressed to a point where drastic measures were taken to ensure the safety of the entire nation. This posed a huge warningand restraint towards future evil and its far reaching effects.

The flood was Gods mercy on mankind. Viol,ence was widespread and every thought of man was evil continually. More babies being born and corrupted as they became evil like their parents. More people flooding into hell. Usually evil and violent ppl arent happy and so if they were miserable and making others miserable, Gods judgment in the flood was mercy. God only killed those that wouldnt get on the ark. Hell is worse for those that do more evil. If the kids grew up hell would likely be worse.

@j919or You cant use the Bible to prove the bible. You are using a circular argument. You are saying the bible is true because the bible says so. Acording to my calculations the bible says the Earth is about 6700 years old. That's off by about 4 billion years. Science is based on reason. Religion is based on authority.

@Hope2009pc Actually you are off by 4 billion years. And the bible isnt true bc is says its true but bc of INTERNAL evidence, which is part of textual criticism. EXTERNAL evidence abounds as well as does evidence for a young earth. Next, read Ezekial 26 and tell me about the prediction of Tyres destruction fulfilled 300 years later by Alex the great. Prepare to be humilated for your own good.

Jesus was God dieing on the cross to illustrate how he absorbed the evil of us all. God seeks to prevent our evil from becoming full blown while allowing it to serve its purpose: to teach us to hate evil which is indepedence from Him. Blood is a symbol of life and how evil kills and life is sacrificed when ppl do evil. God shouldve let our lives be sacrificed but instead he absorbed the evil and its consequence in himself. Atheists are so confused and filled with evil intent.

The sweet smelling arouma was of the sacrifice not burning flesh. God loves his ppl and the sacrifice was beneficial to them, so sweet smelling aroma is a way of communicating ot ancient ppls the he was pleased by the sacrifice. You atheists are twisted. You dont care about truth as long as what u say advances your evil. You are the evil ones like your father the devil.

derek wrote an excellent essay called"The worship of an evil god" check it out, it's pretty much the nail in the coffin for a good god. keep fight'en the good fight. remember despite the evidence of evil people still love Michael Vick.

This is excellent and proves one thing: God was initially but one of many pagan gods. The difference is that God was more vindictive than the gods is demanding an exclusivity even Zeus did not require. The Jewish in particular is vicious, but remnants lingered into Christianity.
