This brings back such memories for me. I did mine alone in my bedroom three years ago this June and cut a big chunk out of the front so I couldn't change my mind! LOL . I so wish I'd done it sooner. It's so good to see more and more of us going through this process. Even if you eventually go back to perming, at least you'll no longer "fear the fro." For me, I'm never going back though.

what products do you have on your hair under the cap and what is co wash?

co wash is when you actually wash your hair with conditioner instead of with shampoo. It's better on natural hair because a lot of shampoos have sulfate and they make your curls all dry and crispy. It works just as well as a shampoo. Try it, and have fun;))

Yes correct cowash is conditioner wash , works on all hair types i do this mostly only shampoo like 2 times a month and only with sulfate free shampoo... under my cap i have Kids Organics deep conditioner , with a lile Extra virgin oilve oil ( EVOO)
