  • nice british 60s style rock

  • Yup, structure. Zappa said going nuts is worthless without an underlying structure. listen to "The Black Page" for reference to that theory; solid under-structure with insane poly-rhythms on top. Life? yeah. let it fall. listen to inner voices. never know where they will lead. BTW-how did your parents like your short hair? ;-)

  • There's a saying in music: "make your drummer sound good". !! That means He is the BOSS regarding tempo/feel. "Arguing" (musically) with him is the worst idea in the world! Me? I have virtually given music up for the time being. No reason, just not inclined to play right now. A lot on my mind. I'm starting to think about a big move, possibly out of the country. I don't know, ya know? I'm just living day-to-day, listening for a direction in which to go. I'm looking at Chile. Good fishing there.

  • Yeah let the musicians do their thing based around a structure, or even better, improvise.

living day-to-day sounds good to me... I guess that's the beauty of having the internet to get an idea of where to live, but more importantly, letting life fall into place.

  • this bass player cares about hooking in DIRECTLY with the drums. Very valuable trait, indeed! And D, your organ sound is outstanding. Andrew

  • yeah he has a punchy playing style, kind of kicks ass. How's your music going Andy?
