  • It's a good question, how to handle interfaith relationships. The birth of children causes you to think deeply about what you believe. Exposure to both is not enough, there must be responsible teaching. That's when you'll find issues, as both faiths differ. Most likely (speaking from experience), whichever of you two who is most serious about their faith will influence the child the most. Beievers don't leave it to chance, they disciple, especially their own children! Peace.

  • Find whatever individual congregation you two are most comfortable with or which, frankly, has the best daycare center. My wife was Lutheran and converted to Presbyterianism which is what I am.

  • So how is married life treating you? Is anything different? That would be a great video!!! :-)

  • Good Luck Honey:)

  • I think that you guys should keep doing it how you are when you guys have beautiful children. Then when they are old enough they will voice their opinion on which they like, as long as they don't choose because of the difference in service time lol.

  • @npwme lol and what a HUGE difference it is!! I can remember the first time I attended Mass with him i was like "hey a girl can get use to this" because the service was so short...but thanks, I think that's the route we will go when the time comes!

  • Dear Soulsistas, don't confused the babies because they will be confused. It's a good plan, but it won't work for long because although both Faiths are Christains we do have differen teachings. We don't worship Idols, we don't pray to Saints, we go to the Heavenly Father for forgiveness and so forth. Now I do agree with some of their teachings but not all of them. What about sending the children to Catholic School and to the Baptist Church for worship? They will still learn about the

  • @shill311 We haven't gone in much details on the topic because honestly I'm still freaked out with the term baby, lol. I have thought about catholic or christian school but then i thought back to all the people I knew who attended such schools and how horrible they ended up (excluding my husband) and quickly rejected that idea!! lol

  • @soulsistas401 one of you guys is going to have to convert. It could cause problems down the road. The baptist church does not believe in life at conception thats why the black community have such a high abortion rate.

  • Lol were you watching the First 48? LOVE THAT SHOW!!!

  • @GrapeSodaK lol, i didnt realize it was what loud until after the fact, but yea, I love it too!

  • I know what u mean on the webcam thing cause a lot of my video quality is suckee lol but wil improve that in the future

  • Finally! its about time you do something productive on your off day ! :) lol

  • @Creepingdeathx81 lol whatever!!!

  • I have a similar thing with my girlfriend, we're an interracial relationship, and we differ religiously too, she's a Catholic, and I well an Agnostic... And its never really been a problem, she just happy I not an Atheist lol... I've always recommended to just speak honestly about it, without too much humer and I think you too will be just fine. Be well... :-)

  • @wiseassgamer lol thanks for the advice :)

  • Well id just like to give my input the way i c it no denomination is right and no denomination is wrong. the thing that sents them apart is their practices which is draw from their interpretation meaning thts just their belief and a belief doesnt mean r right its just an opinion so to me it doesnt really matter the same thing goes for all religions from chritianity to islam to hinduism to jewdiasm...... peace and enjoy ur relationship u only get one life dnt let religous differences interfere

  • I never understood the problems between Christians of different denominations ... a Christian is a Christian is a Christian ... We all believe in Jesus.

  • @TonyN737 yea i agree. but some denominations leave out things and add "rituals." i just think as long as u believe in God and do wat his word says. u r good to go.lol.

  • @TonyN737 i agree when i look at it objectively its as if its a competition of "my denomination is better than yours" when we all believe in the same God

  • we have this situation too. im non-denominational and khari is catholic. but we decided to raise our kids non-denominational. plus he doesnt like being catholic.so he will switch over also.we just think denominations are too complicated and distracting.so does he.we prefer just a good spiritual bible church.but everyone has their beliefs and opinions. by the way nice seeing ya! thnx for the video.

  • @Mariamparker hi chick that's sounds like a good plan that you two have worked out, and I agree on the distractions that denominations can cause, thanks for dropping by!!
