Achterhoek, Veluuws, Sallands, Twents, Drents en Gronings zijn voor elkaar goed te verstaan, daar komt nog eens bij dat ook Friezen ons ook wel verstaan kunnen, verder worden gelijksoortiche dialecten in Noord Duitsland en Zuit Denemarken gesproken (Nedersaks dialecten (Hollands(dialect) en Nederlans zijn Frankonisch)

@Twenthejroin Dat weet ik ook wel. Ik snap echt wat je bedoelt over de dialecten. Ik zelf ben namelijk bezig met me achternaam maar het is zo moeilijk op te sporen. Ik ben namelijk benieuwd of het nou echt saksisch is of dat het nou ergens anders vandaan komt. Ik heb er een vanuit 1350 gevonden uit iemand anders zijn stamboom maar wel met mijn achternaam.
