  • This is in the top 5 most dangerous scorpions on earth, you will 99.9% die without medical treatment. deadly as fuck, but nvm its beautifully cute

  • I'm gonna have to agree. Scorpions are not the worst thing you can aquire through the mail. Shit if you go to a venomous allowed reptile show (which are all over the place) you can buy rattlers, cobras, eyelash vipers. Much more dangerous things than a little fat tail. This scorp is venomous but not a real threat to a healthy adult. Might suck, but you'll live.

  • It is true, and quite sad,,that some unscruplious dealers will sell very dangerous animals for the sake of a buck.Scorpions like these however, although "deadly" and should not be kept by inexperence people ESPECALY KIDS,are not nearly as"dangerous" as keeping say...a Black Mamba.,which are bothe dangerous to keep, and deadly if you make a mistake. The dealer I deal with,do not sell to inexperenced keepers.

  • where did you get yours from? i live in america and i cant find anywhere or anyone to send me one

  • "You can buy a lot of dangerous things through the mail in the US. Things much more insane"

"Like inflatable sex dolls that might pop while you're banging them?"

  • Exactly.

  • @Nigelxman LOLOLOL

  • I agree MantisFreak. It's insane that you can easily buy an incredibly venomous scorpion through the mail here in the U.S. Having said that I have little sympathy for people (with little or no experience keeping scorpions) who are stupid enough to buy one of these guys knowing the risks.

  • You can buy a lot of dangerous things through the mail in the US. Things much more insane.

I was only 2 years into the hobby when I purchased my first Androctonus. They're better looking than Leiurus quinquestriatus, but there's a myriad of more interesting, less dangerous species to keep. Longer lifespan too. Any of the big Androctonus sp. specimens you buy are only going to be around for a couple years on average. I haven't had any live longer than a year for me.

  • There are no risks unless you're careless/stupid. It's quite possible to keep a scorpion without ever even touching it. They can't climb glass or escape

  • Cool video, I love these guys but I don't know why people feel the need to own such dangerous animals? Scientists who study the venom yea, but seriously? I'd be running away from it if I ever came across one...

It's ridiculous how easy they are to buy. Kudos to you you obviously know what you're doing..

  • Can this scorpion cause death?

  • Without medical treatment, potentially. This species causes the most deaths in its native range.

  • Wow very awesome scorpion

  • dude awesome scorpion did you get it online if soo where i gotta have one

  • I haven't seen them on the market in a while, but if you haven't kept less venomous, defensive scorpions before, stay far away from Androctonus species.

  • CREPA FIGLIO DI PUTTANA!!

  • dude !! where did u get that , that scorpion is highly venomus and is illegal to have as pet :0 omg ur very brave...

  • It's not illegal to purchase. There are few restrictions on the import of arachnids into the US.

  • I am deathly afraid of scorpions...if i saw this id squash it like the critter it is...

  • hey quick question how big do these scorps get??

    always wanted to no

and you no when u see amexican film or something lol and theres a HUGE black scorpion or something does anybody no the name of it plzzzzzz wb to me if you no thanks

  • 4-5 inches. They're on the big side for most scorpions.

Most of the huge black scorpions you see in media are Pandinus imperator (Emperor Scorpion). Harmless and available in most pet stores. Go for it if you want one as a "pet."

  • fat tailed scorpions are the deadliest there is! no one has discovered a antidote for their venom yet, and ppl are fuckin stupid enough to buy them online as pets!

  • No antidote for a bullet in your brain either, but people buy guns. It's a matter of responsibility with any potentially deadly objects or animals. They're not pets in the traditional sense, since no sane, responsible keeper would interact with them in any manner that would put their lives at risk.

Accidents happen, but what the hell? We've all been in cars, and accidents happen much more frequently in those, yet no one's calling for a ban. No antidote for flying out your windshield.

  • OH MY GOD!!!!! Do you have the courage to keep this scorpion in your house??? This is very dangerous! I admire you! Anyway, nice scorpion!!;)

  • schöne aufnamen habe selber welche und wir züchten neben bei noch pandinuse

  • i just got one of these scorpions.. and one death stalker scorpion.. im so excited

  • good vid and nice scorpion

  • This scorpion is very dangerous. Sometimes deadly.

  • where did you get those

  • can u make it fight please

  • Sweet.

  • iv got 1 i dnt no wat 2 do wit it!!!

  • is this the deadliest scorpion ?

  • Yes. It causes the most deaths per year than any other. It's not the most venomous though, that's reserved for L. quinquestriatus (Deathstalker). A. australis injects a lot more venom though, causing a worse reaction.

  • @Invisiblekyd

    Statistically
