it all depends on time frame. if you look at the last 6 years, then no, global warming is not what is happening. but in the last 100 years, yes there has been global warming. but then go back to the last 1000 years and its back to the conclusion that the globe is cooling... so its a matter of perspective but i was referring to anthropogenic global warming which does not exist because that idea claims that the rise in temp. would start in the 50s and the earth was warming before that so its wrong

One of the reasons the state (along with several other states/cities/organizations) filed suit was the impending loss of coastline due to human impact on the Earth's natural heating/cooling cycles. While the EPA eventually gave in an decided to regulate CO2 emissions, Justice Stephens pointed out that improving U.S. standards does not eliminate emissions from other countries

IMAX films are like regular theatre films only.... they are realy really tall. An IMAX theatre is 9:16 instead of 16:9. It is also twice as rich - IMAX film is 70 mm wide whereas feature films in theatre are half as wide - 35 mm. The 3D effect is a fairly new technology that uses polarizing prisms on two parallel cameras that act like our eyes act, only much bigger. You go to the theatre and wear funny glasses and the fish swim past you.

Just to clarify, IMAX screens are tall AND WIDE. They are played at aspect ratios similar to 35mm. (The film is oriented differently in the camera and projector, but the projected image is still wider than tall like "normal" films.)
