I don't get how people think curling is boring. Since the age of 4 I've wanted to be a curler. I was utterly hypnotized by it. The first picture I ever drew was of curling. It hangs on my grandma and grandpa's fridge to this day...and I am now a curler...and I'm Canadian. It was 8 years since I drew that picture.

Yes it does look boring that being said you don't know until you try it. I thought golf was super boring, It's really not that fun to watch but doing it yourself is a pretty cool sport. So I bet it is very much the same with Curling. Also bowling seems kinda lame to, but when your out with your friends and doing. It doesn't feel and look so boring. I think that It's because the game is going at such as slow pace that we can't stand to look at it. Most people would like to see some action.

(sport is a form of competition, As an African-American who has played all major sports(ie. football baseball,basketball, swinging, track) , I find curling enjoyable and interesting to watching, but not more enjoyable to watch than NFL football.
