@edino4j Totally agree. A world-known band such as U2 is NOT making anything that resembles DDT's poetry and music... I'm only considering the very few DDT lyrics I've read in English.  In terms of music, I'm positive DDT makes the best in the globe. I'm from Mexico.

Good translation, only if I may suggest that "The Missing One" should be explained to all the Non Russian speaking people as "Missing in Action", meaning the war. But overall a nice effort.

He is a very deeply religious person. Basing this claim on his interviews. Many of his songs reflect that. On the other hand, I don't know if this song is about Jesus. It could be, but Shevchuk said in one f his interviews that it is about a man raised in old times and lost in modern values and generally, it is abouta a person that is worthy of respect and admiration but is forgotten by the ungreatful society.
