GS makes the Z06 obsolete imo, if you're willing to do a lil work yourself... 55k GS, buy a 20k 700HP LSX 454 = 75k, same as Z06 but with a hole lot more hp! right!? cool car btw

@lobzdik "HP" isn't everything. There is also all of this magical little thing called "engineering" making the Z06 different. Look up the big list of differences. Everything from a completely different frame to the engine being lower down, further back in a magnesium engine cradle... and many other "engineering" differences. Or you could you know, strap on a supercharger and get more "HP's"... :)

I was hoping you were going to give your Z06 a little throttle to show him your car pretty much posted the same 1/4 mile times as his new GS. I'd love to see that race with both vettes being bone stock. That would be a close one.

@IrishChris1979 I wanted to. Believe me. Its just we were in 9AM traffic and on a road where cops tend to be. Fortunately I met the guy a few weeks later and we plan to run soon. I will make sure to have a person in my car record it and I will upload it.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize it was rush hour... You're better off not messing around at that time. Certainly more of a chance of getting caught by the cops. I hope you do get a chance to film a race with one. I'd be excited to see that for sure. Enjoy your Z06 man :)
