Cochran was going either way..you think his old tribe was gonna keep him around once they had the numbers? They treated him like shit then had the nerve to be surprised he flipped.
Cochran's problem was that he was too honest about his weakness in the tribe. They started to value him less and less as a tribe member. After a while he felt completely alienated and rejected from the group.
Cochran you've watched survivor for so long but you forgot the most important part: Don't ever give a reason to put a target on your back! Even if your weak try to hide it or fake it. The tribe saw your weakness and ran with it, making you the guy to blame for everything.
It was their own fault for not kicking him out early. It was an emotional decision as demostrated by telling Upolu who would get the idol. They should have realised he might flip.

@SuperJude Hadn't Cochran already told Upolu about Whitney? I think Cochran was committed to fliping otherwise he could have kept his mouth shut and seen how the first vote played out. If an upolu goes home he is now is a good position to flip at 6-5. That is why I think it was an emotional decision because he had more options then what he took.

This was the best chance for him to last longer and in a way get revenge on keith. Cochran is just upset because people wanted him out at the very beginning... with good reason. He was weak, and he can't just cry about that and claim it was "bullying". Cochran really over exaggerated the intensity of the "bullying" he received. Not to say there wasn't any at all, but it was probably far less then he thinks.

in my own humble opinion, there are really only two people that should be pissed at cochran. Dawn, who actually was on his side and was going to flip with him (until she won immunity then she decided no which does take away some of her credibility), and Ozzy who did put his ass on the line for him. That's it. INCLUDING anyone on the internet. I do believe he was bullied but at the end of the day IT'S A GAME.

I don't think he was getting bullied on Survivor. Having experienced bullying before, I think Cochran is overreacting a little. E.g. at the beginning of this clip, it says that he already feels like an outsider, but weren't the Savaii tribe cheering him on as he did that baywatch run to the water? It's not Savaii's fault he feels so insecure about his body. Plus, I doubt Keith hated him, I think he just wanted to keep the tribe strong, you have to admit, Cochran was a liability in challenges.

Survivor is a social game to outwit, outplay, and outlast. Savaii made social mistakes with Cochran. He could make another big move when it gets down to 7 (or even at 9) that benefits him getting to the Final 3. Plus, Cochran did EXACTLY what Ozzy told him to do: Become a double agent. It's gotta suck when his real motives aren't yours, but that's the chance you take.

Cochran is just upset because people wanted him out at the very beginning... with good reason. He was weak, and he can't just cry about that and claim it was "bullying". in my own humble opinion, there are really only two people that should be pissed at cochran. Dawn, who actually was on his side and was going to flip with him (until she won immunity then she decided no which does take away some of her credibility), and Ozzy who did put his ass on the line for him. That's it. INCLUDING anyone on the internet. I do believe he was bullied but at the end of the day IT'S A GAME.

@SuperJude now i watched about a minite of this but then got sick, survivor is about people playing other people play the people before they play you, now i would say my problem with cochran wouldnt be personal, he seems like an ok guy, but he messed up in challenges consistantly, over and over, and these were things he could of done better i dont think that anyone really disliked cochran on a personal level but i do think and if you watch the bonus scenes the tribe werent bullies

I don't think he was getting bullied on Survivor. Having experienced bullying before, I think Cochran is overreacting a little. E.g. at the beginning of this clip, it says that he already feels like an outsider, but weren't the Savaii tribe cheering him on as he did that baywatch run to the water? It's not Savaii's fault he feels so insecure about his body. Plus, I doubt Keith hated him, I think he just wanted to keep the tribe strong, you have to admit, Cochran was a liability in challenges.

Great job longtime Suckster SJ! But dude - you missed the best vid of them all - the Secret Scene where he was offered final four by Upolu, and pointed out he had NO deals on his own tribe. OTOH on RHAP today both Jim and Keith said they all offered him deals os it made no sense. As smart as Cochrane is I have to think that any deal he might have heard from Savaii rang hollow exactly BECAUSE of this vid. We'll see, but I would be shocked if Cochrane is out at the F7.

@fuggybootnling For me, I reckon Upolu will eliminate Cochran at the Final 7. Like Dawn said, they're not going to eat their own over Cochran. I think Upolu just took Cochran in because of numbers. Now that rest of Savaii is either at Redemption Island or Ponderosa, they're going to eliminate Cochran because he won't be of any more use to them. Unless someone realises that Cochran isn't going to get votes in the finals.

Its true, i understand why Cochran flipped. Keith, Jim, and Ozzy were soooooo mean to him. I like Dawn though, she was skeptical about ditching Cochran and she is pretty impressive in challenges. I'm not sure about Whitney though, she seems nice. I just hope Cochran and Dawn can get the Upolu tribe to go against themselves, or else the'll be gone next. Survivor is a social game to outwit, outplay, and outlast. Savaii made social mistakes with Cochran. He could make another big move when it gets down to 7 (or even at 9) that benefits him getting to the Final 3. Plus, Cochran did EXACTLY what Ozzy told him to do: Become a double agent. It's gotta suck when his real motives aren't yours, but that's the chance you take.

Hahahah Cochran's soooo stupid. His move pretty much guaranteed that he won't win the game. If Savaii are knocked out one by one (which is very likely), he'll simply be the last of his tribe to go (7th place). If he somehow manages to miraculously worm his tiny ass to Day 39, then he'll have to answer to a jury full of the tribe mates that he betrayed.
However, I may be wrong and there could be a huge move that completely changes this. Cheers for the upload!!

@walinton Personally, it wouldn't matter if he stayed. He's at the bottom of whatever alliance he'd be in. So really, it wouldn't matter if he stayed, cause either way there's no way he'd win. So the way I see it, he isn't gonna win, but he made sure he'd be memorable. And that's gonna be important because that pretty much gauntness his spot in the next all star-ish season

@walinton coach was EXACTLY right when he said that cochran was superior to his tribe in one department (knowledge), so they break him down and bully (whether you want to use that word or not) him. why would anyone want to trust a group of people who break him down and treat him like shit? they arent HELPING their tribemate in any way. it was obvious that cochran would be better off with coach's tribe. so he made the switch. it was a GOOD move.
