well if you read "More Info" you can see that the engine produce 420 hp on low boost, and thats enough to do a better run. My sisters boyfriend have a BMW 318IS turbo with 390+ at wheels and he can do 12.16 sec run. He has street tires on ..

the reason why he ran so bad on the track is:

1.he was on lower boost.

2.Street tires which means no traction.

3.He didnt even do a good burn out to warm up his tires.

a 911 turbo has all wheel drive? The problem with a car like the e36 M3 when modded is that it was designed for traction up to the 240hp level. At over twice that you must make other changes.

apologies - 911 turbo is all wheel drive withthe exception of some carerras.

However he should not have any issues getting traction on a quarter mile track - they are deisgned so you get good traction. btw - the euro M3 evo has 321 bhp as standard. My evo has around 345 and has no probs getting a decent time on quarter mile. You ever walked on a quarter mile strip? they are sticky!

The best and most reliable tuner in the southern hemisphere when it comes to BMW turbocharging of course and known in the UK by Ca-automotive. He supplies them with turbo kits as well. This was a stock S52 engine. No stroker kits here buddy. We have perfected the turbo conversions on the E36 6cylinder engines. We've just completed a stroker kit conversion on a E36 2.0 to 2.5. 0.6bar boost and 333hp on the wheels... The boost has not been turned up yet....

The other was also a 328i turbo. We didnt prep the tyres and we both had no lsd hence the ridiculous wheelspin. I only got traction halfway through 3rd gear. I had to play with the throttle to stop wheelspin. The other only stopped spinning in fourth gear !!!

God I LOVE those gauges, I an E46 with the same rims and exhaust, I'd love to get it turbo'ed but the HPF kit is $16,000!!! Thats the same amount BMW tried to charge me for an engine after I blew a rod out the bottom. got it done for 10k though...
