Check the coil pack! The coil in a 2cv engine is crappy, but many produced "pirate" coil.

That engine is dry. If the electronic ignition were to blame it'd at least ignite the fuel, even if it's too late or too early.

para arrancar ese coche, tienes q bombear el acelerador 2 o 3 veces antes que nada, luego, mientras le das arranque lo MANTIENES acelerado a fondo.. si no enciende es otro problema..

1. When it's doing that, you should learn to wait 10 minutes, or it will be worse!

2. Don't do it 30 times if you don't get any good result after 3-4 times. It won't magically start!

3. Neutrala and Clutch all the way down

4. Try giving it gas periodically

5. Crank it!

6. Change the battery if it's old or it doesn't work anymore.

=> This works on mine most of the time

Do you have gas in it? (Becaus it seems to be low, or doesn`t it show if the engine is not running) Pull out the choke for starting, maybe a least little gas while starting. Otherwise change the sparkplugs and check the distributor, try starting-fluid.

there isnt really anything to stop this 2cv from starting, the starter was turning over fine, it either didnt have fuel or didnt have a spark! its running s brown coil off the visa... maybe its got electronic ignition which is abit tempermental in the mornings?
