is it just me or the engineer is the most fucked class(acording to the wiki with the current data). He have to loose 1 utility skill slot just to have his second weapon set (i.e. the weapon and backpack kits) instead of using it as utility skill:

slot 1: general utility

slot 2: offensive turret

slot 3: instead of elixir he have to use it for second weapon set - damn thats stupid. (the elementalist have Attunements that are not counted as utility and all other classes have second weapon set)

I heard a comentator I like (goes by the name TotalBiscuit/Halibut/CinycalBr­it) that the graphic are build from the type of graphic, and the rezolution.

Here it apears some texture quality are quiet good (like views and buildings) while some of the abilities doesn't look good.

The type of graphic is "okay" imo, but there are some faces which looks really bad...

Fantasy sure has changed since I was a young lad. Before it was all pre-industrial levels of technology, plus ,magic. Now, its more late19th/early 20th level level technology plus magic. However, this leaves open certain logical fallacies. For example, what the hell would warriors and similar mellee types be good for? Armour? I mean, once you have reliable explosives and firearms, mellee warriors and weaponry are essentially obsolete.

All you people who are QQing don't realize that its 250 years in the future from the original guildwars. In that time Tyria has gone through was is basicly the real world's 1st Industrial Revolution. Now if you whine about wtf guns and swords together. Think about it when gusn first came out they wern't reliable they were blunderbusses and flintlock pistols which are the type of guns GW2 has so yes makes sense for swords and guns in GW2. 1. Replace all the technology and metal work in Charr cities with mountains, hay huts, and camp fires.

2. Remove all the guns, rifles, and cannons from the game.

3. Limit the technology of the Asura, regardless of their Brain Power and intelligence.

4. Remove any sort of evidence of industrial progress.. this includes the machines and devices Chefs and such use to bake, mix, and gather food.

5. The Charr's Iron Legion will not be called Stone Legion.

@MrGrakkus One of the big reasons why AOC flopped is because of how resource intensive it was; making it clunky, awkward, and generally not enjoyable. Only those who had beefy machines were able to run it properly.

@HortonofDOOM maybe lol,i understood the ranks-color scheme of the items,but in guild wars the main thing was how you choose your abilities,and how you use them,items gave bonuses,but imo wasnt really game changing,basicly the opposite of WoW,there you grind til you are worth something,here you start out as equals,but are different due to the skills/spells/abilities you use.and gw categorised those so well,it was great:D one of the best pvp experiences ever

How would they not be able to make a modern looking mine, grenades, etc? And the shoe shaped gun is only for one of the turrets that fires in single bursts, while the other turrets are in different shapes for their purposes.

@okdanhe Because they can't do anything different with spirits. They can't be picked up and moved to accommodate for events/battles that move quite a bit. And what are the spirits going to do? Protect you as before until they run out of hp?

This game has skills that help out other professions and most skills are made to combo with the skills of others. So if spirits were implented, what could they possibly do that would mix well with another skill? Nothing. They only throw spirit flame balls.

Like in pvp you can have have a thief use stealth and attack upclose to get attention from the opponent and make them turn around.

Then let a bunch of engineers set up some turrets behind there backs.

and fire a net at them.

So they cant move and get major damage that would be a good ambush dont you think?
