yes, its sad...politicians and other have been fighitng for over ten years to find a way to repair the old dam. its owned privatly and the owners refuse a few years ago to let it get fixed..so the water levels are dangerous for any boaters.
I think the problem is the government sends people in to kill the beavers anytime they show up to fix things..
it happens in canada alot and most of the public is unaware. much of the public think the 5 cows in a field are the 7 million in factory farms sick and dieing and dragged to slaughter,. your issue is a result of this poor thinking that money is going to solve real world issues.. we have to get involved or the laws will keep robbing us blind.
