That's right, there were 3 cars used in the first movie and one of them was cut in half for special camera shots. For the other two movies they built 3 more cars for a total of 6 for all the movies. These boxes came off the modified car used in the desert scene with the indians.
it sounds heavy when you like dropped it well not really dropped it but like placed it down it sounds heavy
