  • Amazing song....but it must be combined with the haunting guitar in the bridge

  • thanks for posting this i love this song such a beautiful songs u just dont hear songs like this anymore

  • always loved her ... still do

  • Thanks so much for recording and putting these up. It actually looks cool and works well with the mood of these songs! "Coming Up Close" and "It's Not" two of my faves by her that really evoke---something---wanting, angst---I don't know--just great!

  • Still one of the best! Her voice was amazing way back when I first saw her in the clubs of Boston and it's still angelic today 25 years later!!!

  • Definitely the best w/me! Wish she'd do so much more w/the Till Tuesday stuff from the old days. Luv in a Vac/That's Just What You Are/Believed You Were Lucky/Voices... All so good. Another time, another era, another life. One I so wish I could go 'back home to'....& have a 'do over'. My loss that I can't. I'll always think of, love & miss you, 'T'.

Thanks for posting. Thanks too, Aimee.

  • Gotta say that Til' Tuesday does this sooooo much better!

  • One of my favorite songs of all time!

  • Love the comment on the chord she messed up. Great classic song with a fresh sound. Amiee is such an underated artist.

  • my absolute fave TT song. I shout out for this song every time I see Aimee live. Love her- thanks so much for this.

  • Thanks Aimee and thanks for posting! This is a fantastic song....

  • It's amazing how Aimee can take her 'Til Tuesday songs now and give them a whole new kind of depth. I love hearing her go back and try the older pieces again.

  • Thanks for posting I wish I saw her at Mass MOCA this past Summer.

  • thanks so much for posting this! one of my fave songs EVER!...regards!>..g

  • I listened to the original Til Tuesday version of this and compared them. I think this slower, less electronic version, sounds almost completely like a new song. One that is improved by Aimee's maturing voice. This song now has a nostalgic quality where it was more of a yearning song when she did it with Til Tuesday. It makes me want to find that "carving" and see if it is still there.

  • Yeah, it's one of those songs that reminds me of going back to my hometown where I grew up after 20 plus years and being bombarded with memories. I grew up in a small town, about 400 - 500 at most total at the high school I went to. So, this song just makes me think back to that time you know? I never regretted growing up in a small town.

  • I love hearing different nuances on this song some 20 years later. She's picked her best Til Tuesday song.
