Chill the fuck out. Im mexican, and i love to see other ethnicities appreciating Lowrider Bikes. Just because Mexicans are the majority of the riders doesnt mean others shouldnt enjoy them. Geez, Germans invented the BMW, does that mean NOBODY else can drive one?
The Eddie Munster bike was simply a "kustom" bicycle, not a lowrider bicycle. Lowrider Bicycle magazine said the bike was a lowrider to give the lowrider movement a creation myth. Kustom bicycles in the early 60's were styled after kustom motorcycles. Look to the 1970's for bikes with true "lowrider" styling and bent forks. Just because LRB magazine said a kustom bicycle made in the 60's was a lowrider doesn't make it true. Oh yes, the bike was never actually on the Munsters T.V. show.
