  • what about zippo lighters ??

  • @geo93ts dude, really?

  • why was there a flying mexcain on my screen??

  • he sure loves his cigars!

  • man dose a st dopunt X called a regular lighter

  • @huasi87 i noticed that too.

  • Ugh there are just some things in life that seriously need no explaining. If you don't get it then you are an idiot.

  • you suck.

    butane IS normal lighter fuel.

it is NOT a fluid, its a gas. its just pressurized.

and wtf is "evacuating the air"? ^^

  • @41stgaming butane fuel is classified as a "lighter fluid" and when all the butane is gone pressurized air is still inside the lighter so you should release it before re filling. and the lighter was invented in 1828... and they used LIGHTER FLUID its called LIGHTER FLUID because ITS LIGHTER FLUID!!!! butane fuel wasnt used in 1828.

  • I love Cedar chips... I definitely recommend them over a lighter or a match!

  • Use a butane lighter with pot, then tell me it's "tasteless".

  • @SnowKid32 Oh I fucking know.... All my friends are like.... Its just a lighter its not gonna effect the taste..... then I whip out a zippo, and light up a J..... share it... my friends are now like...... This.... tastes good, where'd you get this weed, I then respond, same shit we usually smoke,,, difference is, My lighter

  • @zachy3621 Yeah, seriously. I sure would enjoy a beeline or so, but I can't find any around here so I usually just make my own, e.g. taking bought hemp, melting a candle and letting the wax get through all of it. I tried a soldering iron once but let's just say it wasn't "clean" lmao. I needa get a Zippo sometime soon! xD

  • @SnowKid32 I've Lit a Joint on a stove with my friend jorden, we couldn't find my zippo

  • how about cedar strips?

  • ...are you high? Don't use matches?

  • @eROCtele yea i use to not use matches. and one night i was about to have a smoke with my buddy and he said to try matches..... one word... wow. ill never use a lighter again haha

  • i think lighting a cigar with a zippo is way better..u walk in a casno sit down get ur poker chips and get ur cuban cigar and ur cigar cutter cut it and then use like a 50 dollar zippo to light. u will look like a fucking bad ass lmaoooo

  • haha, total bull! haven't this guy heard about cigar matches?

  • why these people make a big deal out of nothing

  • hmm this tip was the most needed, because i dont smoke cigs often but usually buy one for an ocasion so the new year is one =)

I didnt knew you could use the wooden plane from the cigar tube to light it, it will help because outside a match will go out easily then that tinder :)

  • right after filling, the butane is cold so it wont light for a few mins. Also, the electric ignitors in torch-flame lighters DO wear out, no matter how pricey the lighter is. They are a natural wearble item. If youre very crafty you can buy a cheapo disposable lighter and take out the ignitor and put it in your refillable. Only recommended for the cheap foreign-made low quality refillables with no warranty. Manufacturers of good lighters know they wear out and should replace the ignitors 4 free

  • @generfeld how about using a Zippo lighter with Zippo lighter fuel i haven't tired it yet but its my new lighter and wanted to if it would change the flavour

  • @punisher44445 hey, a regular Zippo lighter doesnt burn butane, it burns a liquid fuel closer to gasoline...the fumes and carbon would probably ruin the cigar's flavor for a while...the "Zippo Blu" uses butane and has a torch flame though. Remember you can have a candle-type flame with both types of fuel, but butane burns much cleaner.

  • what lighter

  • Can a regular bic lighter work?

  • yeah they use the exact same fuel (butane). torch-flame lighters just burn it with more air so the flame is hotter...same fuel though. Lighting with a standard-type flame requires more patience but def. do-able

  • @HipHopTerminator oh, and make sure you dont use a disposable clear plastic lighter. The gas button/lever is plastic, and melts after about 40 seconds of continuous flame. This causes the gas port to come back down under its own weight, stopping the flame. The gas button/lever hardens in its deformed state, and you can never get the gas nipple up again. On Bic lighters, its metal so you dont have that problem.

  • thats a really nice lighter, what brand is that

  • it's absolutely alright to light it with a match, just not with the usual safety matches you can get from any store but get those extra long ones

  • You're right. They were restricting me for time, though and I didn't get much of a chance to write out what I was going to say. I'll be making my own version of these videos soon

  • oh that would be great! totally looking forward to it!

  • I just received a new lighter for Christmas,it resembles the Oscar which Colibri discontinued in 2007.I call it my "non Colibri Oscar",it also has the two punch cutters on the back and a fuel window just like the Original Oscar, they now have the Oscar 2,I would rather have my lighter,I still have one Colibri, the Deuce which has 2 built in cutters,a punch cutter and a guilitine cutter.I will never buy another Colibri ever again!!

  • Sometimes i use wooden matches but you have to let it burn until it gets to the wood so you don't get the sulfur taste in your cigar

  • By the way...I really enjoy these videos...I just received a combo double jet/punch lighter from Rocky Patel. And now I know how to use the punch thanks to this video. I don't know what the release of air does before refilling the lighter, but I'll try it next time.

    Thanks...

  • There is good info here, but the camera man needs to zoom in more, the purpose of a video is to show. If I just want to listen ill get a radio.

Also, it looks like you have multiple types of lighters in front of you, why not give a quick 10-15 second run through of each one?

  • how do you know when your lighter is full? If you're filling it, is there some way you can know when it has enough fuel in it?

  • Well, it doesn't take much, because it's pressurized. Push down the container for 3 seconds and release. Repeat that about two or three times and it should be enough.

  • Thank you very much.

    :)

  • If you want your lighter to be reliable you should always purge the air from the chamber as shown in the video.

  • Wrong! Wrong! WRONG!

Unless you're using some cheap convenience store lighter with leaky seals you should NOT release the air before filling.

Good lighters are designed with the proper air pocket inside to allow vaporization of the fuel for proper burning.

Do your research before presenting yourself as some sort of guru.

  • Obviously, you didn't listen to the video. My instructions were for how to REfill your lighter. Let me explain. Sometimes, too much air gets trapped in the fluid chamber from repeated use. This happens with the best of lighters. You don't have to do this every time you refill...only if there actually is too much air in the chamber. Once symptom of this is getting no flame on the first couple of clicks.

  • Love your videos! Tell the cameraman to get tighter with his closeups! Good stuff... you teach me a lot.

  • cool, do you get cuban cigars in florida?

  • u cant, cuban cigars are illegal in america
