I have yet to buy something from Rockford that let me down except for ONE thing... a fuseholder, that's it. Other than that, everyone will tend to lean towards a brand depending on their preferences or needs. Just because a brand has claims to have a"cheaper, more powerfull" product, it does not make it better. It's all up to the consumer opinion in the end.

@07RedRider400 I guess you just haven't been paying attention to Rockford's gear much. Custom guts, custom chassis on all amps, and their best sub uses a 4in coil. It may only be 1200rms, but the T2 IS a badass sub. It is completely custom designed from surround to motor and sounds damn good, plays low as hell and is quite good looking. I choose to spend more $ for Rockford and not DC, Fi, AA, etc... because I LIKE Rockford's gear. I've heard better/louder, but RF is just my brand.

@lococlown No, the amps are rated in RMS, and all of them put out more RMS power. But they are all less efficient than the Kicker. I can admit that. I know who designed the kicker amp. Do some research on the amps I mentioned. You will be surprised. I run a SounDigital SD16KD on a 18 volt setup and I clamped over 20,000 rms @ 1 ohm, I have a rise of around 2 ohms.

The Warhorse uses a modulated power supply with no separate output section. That is why it is 94% efficient...no other amp comes close. If you want power you have to feed it voltage and current. Wattage = Voltage x Current. There is no way around it. If you want wattage, voltage is somewhat constant so you have to pull more current to get more power. The T15 stores energy for bursts and cannot sustain the 15K watts into 4 channels for very long. It is a good amp, don't get me wrong.

Guys saying this thing is a 10 000w RMS amp...... an amplifier cannot make power. It can only put out what it draws, according to the formula P=VI where Power (watts) = voltage x current. Say this thing is 90% efficient. It has a 250A fuse, and running on 14.4v, that means at most it can produce 3240w RMS. They're the facts. It's still a very powerful amp though of course.

Sure, save money and still have a loud sub with your setup, but be sure that the warhorse plus dvc subs would blow your setup away.

The Rockford T15KW can only make 15K in short bursts, or 1 burst several seconds long. Sure it can make it, but it can't maintain it. It like the Kicker Warshit can only make slightly more then 5K continuously.

If any competitors have a brain. They wont be using this amp.

actually the 10k is rated at 4ohms so if u were to run the 18 @ 2 ohms you get only 5000watts which is what an 18 runs.

hum...i don't think your right , i would be the first one surprise if that thing could push 10k on a 4ohm load, can you just imagine the resistance , and the heat, it would probably melt. and usually the less you impedence the more power, i mean not usually ..always !!

yeah it is on a 2ohm load the website says so my bad. and yeah my bad my calculations were off again when the resistance increases the decreases to remain at the same voltage. due the the formual V=IR sorry my bad must have been tired.
