I'm looking forward to the time when black comedians can just do comedy without hanging on the race angle. It took Irish comedians a while to work out they were just funny without having to rely on ethnic pap for a routine which is now why they're making the panel shows quite regularly. It just takes confidence in your material and not feeling that you have to conform to a stereotype. I'm hoping Stephen Amos will realise that one day and then he'll be really funny!.
