have heard many houses banks have yet to put on market. are holding them quietly cause if they put them on market houses plunge further. soon they will have to balance books.
Homes drop about 50% to 60% in the Bay Area. Sense their all time high in the Summer of 2005. Hayward- FRemont--EAST San Jose- Milipitas. Homes are going to drop even more. Many high tech jobs are going to move overseas , .Truck drivers from the Bay Area have to go to the Central Valley to find work to haul friuts and vegetables and milk. .Silicon Valley has to replant all the Orchards again!

Like you said , "you can't hide it under the mattress". I sense an Enron Ken (Kenny-boy) Lay-- part deux. With his sentence coming, let's see if he has a mysterious "heart attack". Then Madoff--"case closed". Watch and see some of the bigger fish who "lost" money (via "fraud") with Madoff get a taxpayer bailout. "Stinkin fishy".
Think thats big, just look at the mortgage deal! All these mortgage are based on fraud! Just ask them who is the holder in due course! They can't answer, so they have no right to foreclose!

The Govt gives $21,000 to firsthome buyers, withholds land, keeps immigrations figures high, is trying to work out ways to keep defaulting morgage payers in that house, yada yada, the Govt is puffing alot of air into the bubble.

Yeah the bay area is way OVERPRICED. Until all those resets on option arms and alt a's happen the bay area housing won't completely hit bottom.
