This guy looks barbaric... I hope one day brothers will learn how to take care of themselves in the true islamic way. There are some brothers that grow their beards to their stomach or mustache to their bottom lips because they dont know that they are suppose to trim it nicely.

His beard needs to only be a hand first long... His mustache neefs to be trimmed to the point where you can see the mustache and skin. If u have it like this, people will run away from u in a heart beat. Muhammad pbh was a clean, handsome man. He carried perfume, mirrior and cimb with him all the time so he does not look like this. Isnt his hand in the wrong area. Its not suppose to be on the chest but rather on the navel and his mustache is too long so he needs to trim it Also his mustache is toooo long.

i'm confused as to whether or not i read a surah after al-fatha for sunnah prayer or not.

Well akhi as long a i know in sunnah (Nawafil) u should recite something from the quran after surah al-Fatiha, but if you forget unintentionally there is nothing wrong in'sha'Allah.

@calberkeley01 According to a Sahi Haadith, if you only recite Fatiha your prayer is valid.

@calberkeley01 praying another surah after Faatihah is a Sunnah of the salaah i.e. it is not an obligatory part of a pillar of the prayer. Therefore one who prays another surah after Faatihah in Salaah will be following more of the Sunnah inshaaAllaah, which no doubt is a good thing.

According to Shariah, we are not concerned with how Saudis are practicing Islam. Our reference is QURAN and SUNNAH, not Saudi Fatwa. Rafa ul Yadain is not permissible according to a Sahih Hadith narrated by Hz Abdullah bin Masood (Radi Allahu Anhu). Hence, method of prayer is this video is not from authentic references.

Hanafi Shriah?....I am afraid u don't have proper knowledge about Shariah...Rafa Yadin are not allowed in only Hanafi School of thought...and the hadith about declarationj of Rafa yadain are all Zaeef...I have posted the whole article about those ahadeeths in facebook and in orkut...and belive me no Hanafi Foillower could answer that...

The Hadith of Abdullah |Bin Masood was not Sahih ( authentic) it is Zaeef....

"Prophet (PBUH) said Pray as you have seen me Praying."

so every act has to be as per the Prophet (PBUH)

Hey dear brother Just saw your question and I wanted to clarify that putting your hands to the side, would resemble the way the Jews pray.

As muslims we try to be as different as christians/jews as possible, for example our beards we shave the mostache while christians shave all or maybe keep a moustache, and the Jews simply keep it all.

point of disagreement,but important is that you pray.and who you are praying,what you are saying,and to whom....generally people lie in namaz,they do not want to get guided to "sirat al mustaqeem",but yet they are compelled to say so,because this is the only farz part of namaz they could not change(was not possible)the rest(wadhu,posture,before,afte­r....) they distributed in various sect's of islam.ecah in his own fools paradise.promise of allah is niyat,jaysi niyat waisi barkat."wakeup call"
