Would luv to do vermiculture as shown but in the desert w/ summer temps thru the roof will kill them & @ this altitude they'll freeze in winter. In the house they go. I make blocks of ice in the summer to keep them cool. Air-conditioning way too expensive. Winter? Cardboard box over the works w/ a small wattage lbulb to keep the Eisenia Foetida from freezing. We just cut the bottom off and stuck it in the ground about 6 inches.
Easy to move to another spot.
