  • Damn, I went crazy I was like 12 when this happened! I remember all this happened, then again I remember what Stone Cold did at Invasion :/. I wonder if all those stunners he did on the WCW/ECW guys were fake...

  • The Pop when Austin delivers a Stunner is bigger than a pop nowadays!

  • these 10 minutes were 10x's better than anything from 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 combined

  • wow amazing stone cold hell beat all out of shits

  • These pops will return, I guarantee it. WWE just needs some new guys to shake things up, like CM Punk. But we need another 5 or so guys like CM Punk.

  • When I see this video i have goosbamps xD !!!

  • After watching this....I am done watching WWE until the pops are as loud as this again. Will the pops every be as big as this probably not....but I feel like history repeats itself sometimes. I am gonna give WWE another 10 years. If the program still does the same shit with Cena then I am done.

  • Yes JR is just completely epic when doing play by play. Even if you're already drawn into the action his cometary draws you in completely. Still loving the old stuff. Maybe some day their newer talent will be able to pull off something as awesome as this. Just wish Vince would have let WCW and ECW really be separate brands unlike how they did. Still a classic WWF moment by far

  • Holy fuck. Best Tag team ever.

  • He's The OLD STONE COLD! Oh He's Talkin' He's Walkin' -------

    LMAO You GOTTA Love J.R.

  • Biggest Pop Ever At 3:04! That Shit Gave Me Chills! That Was Stone Cold's Best Theme IMO And It Fit That Era So Well, It Kills Me That WWE Had A Chance To To Something Similar With The "It Begins" Promos And Have TOTALLY Fucked It Up.

  • No matter what they do they will not be able too returned the magic of the 90's and early 2000's long lived the WWF.

  • Kane managing very well @ that time

  • no voy a decir que la lucha libre de ahora es una mierda, pero la de ahora no se compara que no esta T-T

  • This is wrestling at its best!! I use to love when the good wrestlers would charge off to the ring to fight the bad guys!! I miss the "attitude era"!! This new "pg" shit sucks!!! Bring back them good ol' days!!

  • Best match ive ever seen! nick I know u dont watch it but watch this!!!

  • these were awesome days. I love them.

  • the ring at 7:19: what the heck is going on here?

  • I was actually there that night. The roof nearly came off the civic center. Probably THE biggest pop ever. Definitely the biggest I was ever in the middle of.

  • the future of the WWE today is still in the hands of the Undertaker and Kane

  • 6.45 Great sell at the front!

  • 7:08 when austin throws the hurricane (shane helms) into that table backstage it looks like he rly hit his head on that wall hard

  • These were the days Kane and Undertaker Stone Cold Steve Austin Truly an epic WWF Moment

  • can someone tell me where the heck is the rock??

  • @FRESHIETILLIDIE I think he was filming The Scorpion King at this point. In storyline he had been "suspended indefinitely" shortly after Wrestlemania by Vince when the Power Trip was formed

  • @MrAguila okay, thanks...was like wtf why didnt he whip candy ass lmao

  • @FRESHIETILLIDIE Damn i can't remember if the rock was injured or suspended apart of the story of course not for real but yea he returned shortly after

  • AUSTIN WITH A POOL CUE! God I love JR

  • man the wwf and the wwf version of brothers of destruction were awesome

  • Who's the old timer at the end?

  • @omfgahippi That's "Classy" Freddy Blassie. He is a former wrestler and manager from a long time ago. He wrestled throughout the 50's, 60's and early 70's. By the mid 70's he became a manager for many superstars. He is also one of the greatest heels of all time.

  • JR=Hall of Fame 2012

  • @TheTRGSwaqah his already in the hall of fame dumbass-____-

  • @gerraldleon818

Lol? i dont watch wrestling anymore cause its shit hole now lol i bet u still have ur room covered in wrestling fucking faggot.

  • cant believe Taker had Limp and Austin had Disturbed... miss everything about the attitude era

  • best entrance goin... miss the days where you felt badass watching this

Where holding titles meant something, and everybody had a chance to hold them

  • I know i've see this comment before but its true, "You Don't Hear A Crowd Reaction Like This Anymore".

  • i want wwe to be more better tna sould come and fight with wwe like wwf vs ecw or wcw

  • JR made this sound so fucking epic

  • That intro was the SHIT

  • what a pyro

  • dont u just love the old days, a simple tag team match turns out into an all out brawl between an entire roster.

  • I think they called that the "invasion" days. when wcw ecw were merging into the WWE

  • this video takes me back to the good ol' wrestling days

  • This 10min vid of the OLD WWE is a million times better than 2hrs of the NEW WWE. We had Stone Cold,Kurt Angle. Now we got Randy Orton and John Cena. They used to have more than two main eventers now it comes down to 2 guys. :(

  • 1997-2002 were the best years in the WWE

  • best days in wwe history!!!!!

  • Taker and Kane entrance is fuckinnnnnnn awesome.

  • Man i miss these days, WWE is a disgrace now compared to this

  • @GTEazyx

And this was considered a LOW point. Lots of people disliked the Invasion. I myself, this is when I became a wrestling fan.

  • @GTEazyx thanks to John Cena comin and Wildlife suein them

  • i wanna see the vid it was a week or 2 b4 this i think or maybe a smackdown angle and taker were supposed to fight or it was another tag cuz i remember ddp was involved and wcw/ecw guys ran out and angle jumped out of ring and held off the guys on outside while taker had a few in ring and ddp in corner. thats when taker did his ring dive to outside on wcw/ecw guys to help kurt

  • i bet you stone cold woke up with a sore ass the next morning after all them stunners..

  • this should happen again but except with tna and the return of ecw

  • fucked up cool shit,man

  • one of the best moments.

  • if this shit was real there would be alot more blood spilled in the ring.

  • Listen JR 7:54

  • JR IS THE F'N MAN!!!!

  • So much time on people`s hands these days .

  • @Allapattahgoon Im not crying i simply stated a documented fact in which i stated the WWF should have signed Hogan, Goldberg, Nash, Sting, Flair, Steiner etc. but didn't because they wimply didn't want to buyout their Time Warner contracts.

McMahon does this all the time boxing, WBF, XFL, WWE films, $50 million for Linda's senate run...uses the money earned through pro wrestling to diversify into other areas to fail...signing top WCW talent would have been a better investment then XFL.

  • @nWoWolfpacTV LOL those stars your name were HAPPY when WCW was bought out cuz they had injuries to heal, and families to be with and PERSONAL lives to live, their entire LIFE doesnt revolve around YOU..Why would you WANT them to work against their wills? sheesh didnt u say WWF lost alot of money and couldnt afford their contracts? Don't talk about things that would make u seem like a tard

  • @Allapattahgoon Last time im going to tell you so register it in your pea brain. WWF bought contracts of 24 WCW mid-card wrestlers in March 01 but felt that wrestlers such as Goldberg,Nash,Sting,Steiner,Flair,Booker T & DDP, would be valuable additions but were overpriced - had WWF bought their contracts they would have had no choice regardless of their personal lives to work for WWF unless they wanted to lose their guaranteed money & quit. Those 24 mid-card wrestlers also had personal lives....

  • @Allapattahgoon You are by far the biggest moron i have conversed with in the past year. Again to elaborate on my previous comment if WWF bought Goldberg's Time Warner contract like they did with other 24 talents they signed he would have been contractually obligated to work for the WWF. Nobody would have foced Goldberg to work he could have refused but then WWF wouldn't have to pay him his $3 million contract - so Goldberg has a choice quit & lose $3 million or wrestle & get his $3 million.

  • @Allapattahgoon Lastly if you think "those stars" were happy when WCW went under then you are fucking clueless...the only one who has ever made such a statment is Ric Flair. Also again do some fucking research...ive just went on google & found information on the buyout (which i already knew) especially on why WWF didn't sign the big name WCW stars...

The invasion failed & a big reason why is because they didn't sign the name stars even though they could have. The End.

  • @Allapattahgoon You are a fucking moron. The Invasion angle FAILED BIG TIME. Everybody witha clue about the business knows this. That's why Kayfabe Commentaries pay Jim Cornette to fanatasy re-book it & put it on DVD to sell.

Reasons why the angle failed are also obvious. One of those reasons was they has no true big name WCW stars other then DDP/Booker. WWF could have signed them but choose not to - so make all excuses up you want about why they didn't sign them the fact is they could have.

  • @Allapattahgoon Fans for decades dreamed about NWA/WCW vs WWF a storyline that could still be happening today drawing a shitload of $ fucked up in 8 months. A WCW invasion with no Hogan,Savage,Sting,Luger,Flair,Piper,Nash,Hall,Goldberg,Steiner...replaced by Awesome, Storm, OHaire, Palumbo, Stasiak, Kidman. The angle FAILED. The possabilities of the angle if done correctly were endless.

WWF could of & should of signed the name WCW stars in order for their attempt of booking the invasion to work.

  • @nWoWolfpacTV didnt u marks bitch about having the same old guys in the main events all the time and wanted new stars?lol and of course u marks thought WCW was gonna look inferior cuz WWE bought them and everyone with half a brain knew they were gonna lose anyway, So u marks came with a negative attitude from the start. and most of those stars had in juries they wanted to heal, family they wanted to spend time with and take a break from wrestling overall...

  • @nWoWolfpacTV .. what makes u think they were gonna throw all that away just cuz u marks wanted them too? THINK about their personal lives before u demand and bitch about what u wanna see, all u IWC marks do is Bitch and Bitch and bitch...Go cry

  • @Allapattahgoon Personal lives this & personal lives that.....STFU with personal lives...everybody has got personal lives. If WCW didn't go out of business Flair, Nash, Goldberg, Sting etc. would have been on TV throughout 2001 regardless of their personal lives. Most of WCW's big names stars were written off TV in late 00/early 01 in preperation for the relauching of WCW by Bischoff...until the Fuiesnt deal fell apart.

  • 7 little jimmy = deslike

  • @Allapattahgoon To elborate further...Sting even made a Movie about how he found God. In a TNA DVD release he explains why he didn't join WWF in 01 (Booker T incident aforementioned). Maybe you should use wayback machine & look at some old websites, download some old Dave Meltzer wrestling observer radio shows, download PDF PW Torch Newsletters & buy old issues of Powerslam Magazine from buyout of WCW to end of the invasion in 01 so you can get a clue about what the hell you are talking about.

  • @nWoWolfpacTV yea i did see the vid and that vid also says Sting wanted time off wrestling after WCW was bought, and the Booker T incident" The who are you? You mean the same thing Rock does to every other wrestler? mayeb u should see the vid urself..

You know you really shouldn't talk about things you obviously posses no knowledge in

  • @Allapattahgoon STFU up how many times have a got to tell you that if WWF purchased Sting's Time Warner contract he would have been contractually obligated to work for them...regardless if he wanted time off. Im just repeating what Sting said regarding Booker T & anyways come off it everybody knows WCW was booked to look inferior to WWF which is why another reason the angle failed. What the fuck are you trying to prove? WCW invasion is one of biggest cock ups in history of pro wrestling end of.

  • there isnt any crowds like these anymore

  • OH YEAH LIMP BIZKIT

  • Those 2 were basically the leaders of team wwf, who the fok would go against them??? they are badass!

  • Damn I still love that evil Stephanie McMahon: "you're both about to die." Yeow.

  • 8:47 sell out stunner FTW!!

  • Sting will never come to the WWE,I truly believe that. Hogan wont be back. Nash maybe,Hall maybe, Savage has unfortunately passed away(but am sure will be in the 2012 Hall Of Fame),Scott Steiner(been there,he SUCKED! check Royal Rumble 2003,worst match of the year) & as for Goldberg,I honestly would like to see him come back 1 more time,he was used as both goofy & serious character, but if he came back silent & domiante i'd enjoy that.

  • If only WWF had the balls to sign Goldberg, Steiner, Hogan, Nash, Hall, Savage, Sting, Flair.....

  • @nWoWolfpacTV Sting refused to sign.

  • @kreepyderk He couldn't refuse to sign if WWE had of bought his Time Warner contract out which they refused to do just like everybody else. The only reason they got DDP is because he accepted a 50 cents for every $ buyout on his contract in which he missed out on guarenteed money for doing nothing becuase he wanted to wrestle for the WWF so bad. For the amount WWF wasted on XFL & how cheap they bought WCW (3 million) they could have bought every top WCW star for about $7 - 10 million.

  • @nWoWolfpacTV Goldberg said he didn't wanna wrestle regardless, he said he felt burnt up from wrestling, Sting had personal life issues and was thankful WCW was bought,Steiner,Nash were injured, Flair was signed but there were no plans for him. yea WWF wasting money on XFL was what led them not to buying bigger WCW stars contract, it wasn't because WWF "didn't have any balls" u sound like a retard

  • @Allapattahgoon If WWF bought Goldberg's Time Warner contract just like they did with many other talents he would have been contractually obligated to wrestle for WWE regardless if he felt burnt out. Steiner was injured correct however you are incorrect stating Nash was injured. Flair was not signed in March/April 01 at all. WWF didn't have the balls to spend money on WCW's top stars for fear it would upset it's own talent & pay structure. Get a clue you fucking retard.

  • @nWoWolfpacTV Flair was signed during the inVasion time, and even if WWF did have the "balls" why would it upset WWF stars knowing they were gonna come out on top anyways"? You marks bitch about DDP and Booker T "getting buried" when im sure if WWF "had the balls" to buy their contracts you'd probably bitch about that as well, Go cry

  • @Allapattahgoon Listen fuck face, the invasion angle is widley regarded as on of biggest fuck ups in pro wrestling history...if you don't understand the reason why then clearly you know nothing about the history of the business. The angle failed...it should still be going on today. Fact remains if WWF had of brought likes of Hogan, Nash, Sting etc. in right away the angle would have had a greater chance of succeeding. DDP accepted 50 cent on $ buyout, Booker T contract wasn't expensive.

  • @nWoWolfpacTV It's real easy to bitch about something that happened over 10 years ago, when u don't take wrestlers personal lives into the mix, i just told u Sting had personal problems, and matter fact stated that he has no problems w/Vince, Think about his LIFE before your own personal greed, and the nWo preferred to sit out instead of wrestling. DDP/Booker's contracts werent expensive, good if only all other top stars werent expensive they would've been there as well

  • @Allapattahgoon I was bitching about it in 02 (as were all wrestling insiders) 6 months after aswell so what is your point? Sting didn't have personal problems in 01. Sting found God in 98 then took 6 months off after Halloween Havoc 98. Sting was offered a contract by WWF but refused to sign when he saw how Booker T was being booked to look inferior. DDP's was expensive...he took buyout. It's was top WWF talent ego's and WWF being tight with money as reasons why top WCW talent was not signed.

  • That entrance is so badass

  • Best entrance in history...

  • undertaker and kane were and still are awsome also i like DDP shame what happened :)

  • This was when WWE was worth watching it, please end the fucking PG era we need some real violence, so thanks Cena for turning the WWE into a kindergarten scenario 'cause we can't blame Orton since he has displayed some of the most vicious actions these last years...

  • @ElvisShadows blame Cena? The hate for him is getting so fucking retarded now. You blame Vince and the writers...not Cena... he's just doing what he is told.

  • @HearTBreaKiD023 Doing what he's told? Haven't you heard that he has been given "power" to control the way his character is going to be portrayed so he knows he's an example for the kids and want to stay like that and you know fuck that! Kids should watch violence after all they see it in the movies and on the internet so I don't hate him I am thanking him for being a fucking pussy and yeah Vince and the writers too, fucking PG era...

  • @ElvisShadows lol. srsly... his wrestling srsly sucks. same moves every single fking time. no creativity at all, 0 technical skill... thats not something vince or the writers can help him either. he just sucks. period.

  • @donabel88 Man you've just said it all right there, no need to say more!

  • They should have went ahead and hired Goldberg, Ric Flair, Scott Steiner and Sabu,Balls Mahoney, ECW guys and brought back nWo, Hulk,Hall and Nash here. And lead to a all out war going into WM18. Woulda been great. Plus make them all threats and none on each others side.

  • 5:37

That is the typical friday-evening scenery at my local pub :D
