The song does go well with it, if you listen to the lyrics and think about what's happening at this point in the story. ie: shukaku only appears fully when gaara is asleep, and also how naruto can relate to gaara really well because they had similar childhoods and are both jinchuuriki

He'll definately have some plan into either catching Sasuke or getting Gaara to fight Sasuke, or better yet Gaara helps Sasuke kill Danzou. Hehehe, wishful thinking there. But Danzou won't be the offical Hokage until the village ninjas vote their approval, which of course they won't.
