  • love the fifties style never dies ;-]

  • Oh! Love this song!

  • Music, yes, even the 1950s oldies, tie us forever to a place and time, and this tune does that for me; however, should time permit, would you be willing to upload the flip-side, which is a slow derge added by the record producer because of the enormous "A" side potential. In those days, teens usually did not listen to "B" sides of 45-RPM records, unless they were in to the obscure tunes.

Freddy Cannon shook-up the AM radio airways, to be sure!

    Thanks for the music!

  • Wouldn't pictures of Freddy Boom Boom Cannon be more appropriate in this video, than pics of Chubby Checker? Just wondering. But Thanks for the music!!!

  • I was fortunate to catch Freddie BOOM BOOM freekin' Cannon AND Chuck Berry in the seventies at an outdoor gig. Gotta' be honest with ya'll, Mr. Cannon stole the show and did it w/ more energy than alot of the muscians I've seen since.

  • I will go to my grave saying Lou Reed owes this feller a moral debt.....

  • Jeez! I haven't heard this for blooming years! Good one.

  • In my opinion the first kind of "heavy" rocksong!I loved it at that time...
