I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
Red interior are for a cheap C4 corvette driven by an owner with funky short pants and nike shoes not for a regal porsche normaly driven by an owner dressed in an Armani suit
god this vid is like WTF to the max LOL. the story is retartded at the beginning and end. and the red interior is nasty. But other than that I would fucken love to own one of these cars I would even be happy with one with a red interior LMAO.
God I love the 928 - it's just in a league of it's own. Nothing even comes close.
I'm in the process of buying one as well - an early one.. '77 one of the first 500 ever produced. I prefer the old ones over the never models. They have clearer lines and represent how Porsche initially intended it to look. And of course there is the Tom Cruise feeling of driving one of those early cars :)
The whole feeling of the video clip feels very 80's, cool. I prefer the first 928 with the telephone dial wheels. I even met the designer 4 years ago in stuttgart.
I have a 1987 S4 and i notice that the car in this vdeo doesnt have the side body moulding? does anyone know why? my car has it and every one i have ever seen has it?
It was option to leave those out. Most late model year cars have them but some don't. For instructions how to remove them see for example Rennlist 928 forum archive.
Great ad for a great car!

I think so. He was about to roundhouse kick anybody's face who frowned upon the 928.

I'm in the process of purchasing an older 928, same color as that maroon one. What beautiful cars they are.

Depending on the exact year, they had a 5.4 liter v-8.
solidsnake2786 5 years ago
Only the GTS came with the 5.4 litre V8 ('90-'95) Otherwise there has been a 4.5 litre, a 4.7 litre (S+S3) and a 5.0 litre (S4+GT)

Still one of the most beautiful porsches. The engine is pure awesomeness. 8-cylinder in line!

Did you even watch the video before making a comment. It clearly shows a V-8. You are a dick.
