  • @whiteboy7931 There is a walmart, it got moved

  • @Allen1363 NO! Man...that was a good Wal-Mart back in the day.

  • i'm from there. lol

  • Arab also means people from Arabian decent.I though that was kinda funny, considering that Arab, Alabama is what America is all about. Personally I think you fellas have a great little town there!

  • @ammarhio ,

Arab has its good points and its bad points, but it's a nice place to live. It's the sort of town where you lock your car/home as a precaution, but you don't have to. As a High Schooler there, I'm ready to get out and see what other people are like, but this is probably the place I'm coming back to raise my kids.

Yeah, the name catches people by surprise. I believe the story is that either the founder or his son's name was "Arad", and there was a mixup when naming the town.

  • @RocktheSocks ,

Post Script: Also, it's (Ae-rab, with an exagerated "A' among locals with thick southern accents. ^_^ )

  • hahaha its called Arab

  • @ammarhio DONT MAKE FUN OF ARAB!!!!!

  • @BladeFire30 im not..

  • @ammarhio its just the way u said it made u sound like u was

  • where is the airsoft field located

  • @wwelh4 theres not one

  • @BladeFire30 sorry they said on the enternet there was one

  • @wwelh4

The airsoft field is on 231 on the south end of arab, past the cattle barn, on the right. Not sure where you turn exactly, but my nephew plays there. So, I know that there is one in that area. :)

  • HAHA!!!! 3:28 Kara Chapman doing her hulahoop thing! HA!

  • @Manchild006

Kara really should've tried out in a professional talent show. She's amazing! The sweetest girl you'll ever meet, too.

  • @RocktheSocks i know her pretty well i ran track with her

  • im surprised im not in any of these [or the skate park =(]

  • This is were u grew up and wouldn't trade it for anything.

  • every other picture should've been of a church; that would've depicted arab a little more accurately.

  • and home town

  • im from arab and yea 20min drive for anything jahahahahhaha

  • the song where im from goes better with this plese change it

  • omg these pictures are so old Trust me the hospital has changed, down town is now old town, Arab is not the only football team now BMHS is up, old town is still the same and we still have the parades there lmao and the park still has the museum in it but when I move from this small town after grad I am going to miss it and probably find myself coming back to this vid to get a since of home life...never regret what you have, but keep your mind open to your beginning.

  • @eyluvstwilight do u live in arab???

  • @Allen1363 = Yes I still do

  • @eyluvstwilight bmhs counts as guntersville

  • @Allen1363 = Location means nothing, its the memories you have that count which is what I am referring to because my memories refer to my friends and I being from Arab but not having to go To ARAB but instead to BMHS which was another rising team <Which is what I stated in my post. BMHS may be located within Gunterville's Limits but it carries students from Scant City, Union Grove, Guntersville, and Arab. The memories that the students take with them is their own, and growing up in Arab was mine
