@DillanReed man you can suit yourself but arab is where i live and where my heart is. idk where your going but theres nothing to be ashamed of in a blue collar background
where's the walmart? Where is Jitney Jr? That's the only thing i remember about living there. First time i drove thru it, i didn't know i was in a town!!! Lol....it was small
Arab also means people from Arabian decent.I though that was kinda funny, considering that Arab, Alabama is what America is all about. Personally I think you fellas have a great little town there!
Arab has its good points and its bad points, but it's a nice place to live. It's the sort of town where you lock your car/home as a precaution, but you don't have to. As a High Schooler there, I'm ready to get out and see what other people are like, but this is probably the place I'm coming back to raise my kids.
Yeah, the name catches people by surprise. I believe the story is that either the founder or his son's name was "Arad", and there was a mixup when naming the town.
The airsoft field is on 231 on the south end of arab, past the cattle barn, on the right. Not sure where you turn exactly, but my nephew plays there. So, I know that there is one in that area. :)
omg these pictures are so old Trust me the hospital has changed, down town is now old town, Arab is not the only football team now BMHS is up, old town is still the same and we still have the parades there lmao and the park still has the museum in it but when I move from this small town after grad I am going to miss it and probably find myself coming back to this vid to get a since of home life...never regret what you have, but keep your mind open to your beginning.
@Allen1363 = Location means nothing, its the memories you have that count which is what I am referring to because my memories refer to my friends and I being from Arab but not having to go To ARAB but instead to BMHS which was another rising team <Which is what I stated in my post. BMHS may be located within Gunterville's Limits but it carries students from Scant City, Union Grove, Guntersville, and Arab. The memories that the students take with them is their own, and growing up in Arab was mine
We moved here 10 years ago from Florida. This is my home now. I would highly recommend Arab to anyone looking to have small town feeling with all of the city convienience! Anything you could want within 20 mins drive.
I havent been home in about 10 yrs....Great Video to an Awesome song. I graduated from AHS in 2000, went around the world in the Army..then ended up in Prattville....This makes me miss my "Small Town"....Thanks....Gary Johnston

every other picture should've been of a church; that would've depicted arab a little more accurately.
