No transa.Gracias por esta ilusión

  • Fantastic Video, great Maia !!! Thank you

  • She is the best thing that ever happen to this world... I´m glad you liked it!

  • Yes, may be :) But for ballet sure :) Is this Callas recording of Carmen, great comparison and is 2:23 Laurencia ? A ballet which opened a door for her in greatest career.

  • Yes it is Callas, and yes it is Laurencia... I also think Callas and Plisetskaya are similar in the way they perform with their complete soul, they are both so emotional... and what Maya did with Laurencia, it is amazing, did you see Alexandrova´s version for Maya on her 80th birthday Gala, it was great...

  • Yes I saw it, really amazing. I too very interesting with Maya's art. When she had some problems in Bolshoi in the beginning of her career my countryman, great dancer and choreographer Chabukiani called her in Tbilisi. They were very closed friends.

  • I especially love her Kitri, Carmen and Bollero, really fantastic. And really sad that her whole Laurencia does not exists, very temperamental ballet.

  • so you are from Georgia! that´s great... I´m also a big fan of Georgian Godess Nina...

and Chabukiani, the man was a genious, very unique in his dancing and exceptional choreographer! I find it very interesting talking to you !

  • Me too, It's very interesting:) I too adore Nina, not only for her talent, but also for personality. And it's very pleasure that she returned to our house and is Artist Director of ballet.

Now is 100 year anniversary of Vakhtang. On Wiki page of him you can see Maya and him in Laurencia. I find a lot of material about him and edited it

  • I'm not great fan of ballet, more like opera, but Plisetskaya, Ulanova, Soloviov, Chabukiani and etc are the artists that you can not pass without dispassionately

  • Oh I though you were a dancer or ex dancer... =), and yes definitely Ulanova and Soloviev were also very important in ballet world. I think of Soloviev as the biggest loss, because he died too young.

  • Yes, Yuri was really great lost for entire ballet world, RIP. And sadly only few videos exists, as I know , he was only inspiration of legendary Nijinsky.

In branch of Art I'm not professional, but adore all kind of real, great Art :) Thank you for very much for interesting conversation

  • It was really nice talking to you too!
