looked like they had fun singing one of the greatest commercial jingles of all time. cept for the guy second to the right. he looks like he's half assing it :)
Dear lord people! ITs group of kids singing a song! Why does everyone gotta get all up in their faces! The boy at the beginnign sounds sick, and the falsetto at the end is bomb. Everyone needs to just chill and take it for what it is...some kids just singing a song!
@da10nisboy...this is great! You all sound just like Rockappella! =) Did your choir teacher write out the arrangement himself? Is he willing to share it? So many people are look for the arrangement to Rockappella's Folger song, but it's nowhere to be found. This arrangement is awesome, could you share it?
First guy is singing out of his range. Someone needs to tell the last guy that falsetto is cheating. Probably should have had the ladies take the leads if the fellas were all too deep. Funny homage tho! I got a smile out of it.
hmm i concur. he does seem to be straining a bit and it squeezes the notes.
I'm pretty sure that the only reason that the rockapella guy hits those notes though is from lots of daily training to keep his voice at high tenor range. And unless that kid wanted to alter his voice, like the singer from rockapella...
Good grief man, it's a really good arrangement done by a choir class, not Rockapella. The last part of the end needs to be falsetto and if the rest of it is falsetto too that's just a necessary thing. It was an awesome arrangement, there's a lot more to it than the lead vocals which were fine and did not do anything to hurt the song.
Yeah, the verse "always comin' through" is definitely not falsetto. Neither are the final words "in your cup." Being in falsetto when the part doesn't call for it is quite frowned upon among vocalists (I used to lead the Tenor Section for a Gospel Choir). Also first lines are "Everyday I wake up AND pour myself a cup." Favorite part was "a doo-wop, shoo-bop for meee..." followed by the female harmony. I thought it was the cleanest section.
Yeah, I agree, I like the harmonies in that part. There are parts of the song that are out of tune, but overall I think it's a pretty good job. Anyone know what level of choir this is?
ispeakthefukintruth calm down jesus christ they didnt adapt the version all that well to be honest and they are evry talented and if a taleneted droup cant handle critisism then there not a group and its obvious ur affiliated with the group so calm ur ass down and sux is slang haha so dont tryt to act smart by correcting it honestly chill out and y are u calling people a bitch when ur answered a 2 word comment with 3 paragraphs ur the insecure bitch
lol great job guys! heres a helpful tip - lower it one note and then the first soloist would be more comfortableand would be able to sing his heart out! Also the girl soloist would be just as good because all she'd have to do i change the interval! Great job Guys!
