    watch?v=iNcRVpkz4_U

  • This is beautiful, like the original song. I could fall asleep to this (i have multiple times actually) it's a shame the project was cancelled though...it would have been a big hit, i bet

  • Ah there's the chrono trigger theme from 1:33 :D awesome remix!! gosh gaming music can be so deep

  • @heyjo0205

    - at least it was, until it was hollywood-ized (metaphorically) ... now it's hard to find beautiful video game music anymore...

stick to the classics, may sound like an old geezer, but in terms of how fast business has taken over the video game industry... I'd rather stick to the old skool creativity-over-cash style.

  • @HypnoPants Couldn't have said it better myself man! I'd give you two thumbs up if I could!

  • I'd have thought Chrono Cross was 32 bit, being a PS1 game.

And that Chrono Trigger would have been 16 bit being a SNES game.

  • Good stuff man! One of the better remixes out there! Keep it up.

  • I was listening to this remix long ago... When peoples were still hoping for a chrono trigger remake.

Anyways ... This is one of the most beautiful covers/remixes i have ever heard in my entire life. Good job Mathew Valente!

  • so where's the remix?:s all I can hear is from the original soundtrack

  • everytime I listen this I think about the difference between Reality and imagination.

I think to deep. Pass the joint!

    lol I dont smoke :)

  • IT'S NOT REAL, IT'S STOLEN DIRECTLY FROM CHRONO RESURRECTION OST

  • Very beautiful ;_;

Sinto saudades dos anos 90 =D

  • Hey man i really love this remix good job, where can i get it? please

  • Amazing...

  • OMG!! This song is beautiful!! ....T_T

  • Great use of the Chrono Trigger Introduction song near the middle.

    Awesome job.

  • Have a tab?

  • @Artificialraven I dunno... I'm pretty sure that the original Final Fantasy III (VI) SNES release is a 24-megabit cart.

  • Basic Space vs Chrono Trigger Enhasa Theme check out this mash up!

    at AwakeAwakeband 's Youtube site

  • @AwakeAwakeBand suck my dick

  • When I'm a father, I'll share movies like this with my children, and tell them, 'This is how you know something had quality; even after it's gone, it inspires and informs the creativity of others.'

  • Love it

  • This song is awesome.

  • He said as much in the video description. Chill dude.

  • chuggaa linked this. it's so cool

  • I dunno. I think this song is more of an arrangement than a remix. It's still very good, though.

  • the sound effect at 0:54 is awesome! what do they call it in music terms?

  • A chant?

  • vocal harmony? there are a few terms that could apply. It seems to be one of those faux choir effects.

  • A Choir? lol

  • You should really check out Verdegrande's rendition of your remix. He mixes it with Zohar's fantastic arrangement and creates a whole new level of awesome.

  • if square enix did remake chrono trigger in to

Chrono Resurrection i think it should be a Wii ware game for 2000 points and would go greatly with a classic blast from the past with enhanced 3d graphics and put more movies in like on the DS extra content

  • its brilliant......

    absolutely stunning

    i'm getting goose bumps

    .......bravo...

  • so beautiful, love Chrono Trigger now and forever

  • very awesome, when i saw the word "Remix" in it, i thought it was going to be some over synthesized poppy crap. Very good remix. What string instrument is that playing? Just a regular steel string acoustic?

  • Sounds awesome. Catches the feeling of the original Corridor Of Time-Track quite good, at least way better than certain other remixes. Bad thing CT Resurrection got cancelled ...

  • Not the best remix but not bad either. I recently got jazz remix of all the songs, it sucked

MilkDrop is still an awesome vis.

  • Very Nice

  • Comment removed

  • Really relaxing. Great remix. Could listen to this over and over.

  • The song is impressive and the visuals fit Chrono Trigger seemingly well too. 5/5

  • 32 Mb (Megabit) game. And for the sake of knowledge, there's 8 bits to a byte, so the game itself is actually only 4 MB (Megabyte). Of course, if you say something has "32" over "4", that sounds all the more impressive even if you have no idea what any of it means.

  • sure does make a good ending music :)

  • Tis good, but WAY too remastered.

  • Er... How can it be "way too remastered"? I can understand how something can be "way too REMIXED", but not "way too REMASTERED".

  • I remember stumbling upon Mathew's site long ago. It was all weird organized and I ended up in some filelist, and I found a bunch of oggs that were remakes of CT music, and I grabbed them all. This was there, and god, it rules.

  • From what I understand, though the SNES had a 16 bit processor, it's power could be somewhat increased through having various components that were built into the cartridge itself... or something... =/

  • That's the Super FX chip :)

Well, I looked it up on Wikipedia and it was as I expected. The game cartridges use 32 megabits (MEGs) of memory. So it has to do with the storage capacity of the cartridge.

  • haha xD I see

  • Just too damn good...

  • I heard this before in one of your vid's. info's geart work raven

  • Chrono Trigger had some of the best ingame music to ever grace a 32 bit game.
