you are stupid. How can you ask what kind of magnification he uses to this CLOSE. While you can see crystal clear a planet years far from earth..... whatever you are stupid
At first I thought this must be fake, but I found it also on lots of reputable astonomy webistes. The space station orbits at a height of 350 km, and the telescope must have pretty good optics!
amazing ! i saw it in the sky, but i didn't get it on my telescope.

why is it rotating?
Oscar847 2 years ago
because the telescope is only rotating on a tripod.
think of the iss as a car and and you as the telescope.
say that you (telescope)are standing on the side of a road
then a car (ISS) comes into view down the road.
you (telescope) see the front of the car (ISS) coming toward you.
when it passes you see the back of it

@DangerD205 I was trying to say what a good job the armature photographer did in catching this great shot. Sorry to touch your homophobe bone.

You shot that with a telescope from the ground? What magnification did you have to use to get that close a picture?
cctaximan 3 years ago
Nice. You can really tell it's moving like a bat out of hell since the angle is changing as it goes by/around/orbits.
