Our economy is tanking in front of your eyes! And our rep is why. You see we dont pay back our loans. Thus we have debt: we are all in debt thanks to guys like you who have a false sence of security.
I think this guy is dreaming! Foreign Financing of U.S. Government Debt Japan $644.3 Bn China $349.6 Bn United Kingdom $239.1 Bn Oil Exporters $100.9 Bn Korea $70 Bn Taiwan $63.1 Bn Caribbean Banking Center $68 Bn I think you should research more in new books!
are you saying that America imports money? Are you trying to prove that almost every nation in the world finds America to be the safest place to invest or borrow thei money? Why does this show an inconsistancy with anything in the above video?
What!? That's exactly what I apposed and what you supported by referring to UN relative statistics. Talk about making a flip flop. I support judging poverty by the same standards applying to all countries. Then you'll see poverty in Sweden is much higher than in the US.
What the hell is this increasing poverty? That's rediculous. Can you please give some evidence?
An "overheating" economy is modern Marxist government beauracratic drivel for "loosing govermnet control". And I wouldn't take anything the UN says any farther than i could throw the UN (which isn't far).
1)Actually the bankers and financial wisemen that advice not too "overheat" the economy are liberalistic thinkers... 2) to reject statistics saying that the numbers of people living under the Un-poverty-line (which the USA supports) is increasing in the states is simply wrong and un-scientific
An overheated economy is impossible in a laissez-faire capitalism economy. Only government can overheat the economy by destroying the auto-checks built in to capitalism. Like having a central bank and spending more money than it takes in for example. Therefore no person advocating for freedom would say that. Maybe a conservative or something similar would.
TakeAleft- you've really got to proof read your stuff if you're going to seem as intelligent as you want to and represent the left well. A spell checker is not enough. For example, it's "advise," not "advice." Now eat your peas!
Actually, Denmark has just been named a "rolemodel" by some UN-scholars... the government is by many "financial-visemen" advised not to make any tax-reductions since it will over-heat the economy... NOT a problem the Usa is troupled with, you must agree! America is continuosly spending more and more... while the PEOPLE are getting less and less hence the increasing poverty
Ha ha, "UN-scholars". You do know that those poverty figures are relative, right!? If the US standard was to be applied to Sweden 39 per cent of "us" would count as poor or 24 per cent if you don't count retired people.
Another thing to know about the US "poverty" is that the same people aren't the "poor ones" from year to year. Most of them advance and become richer but the "poverty" quote remains pretty much the same since the standard keeps increasing and since new Mexicans, students etc emerge in the statistics.
That's right, I remember reading that like 80% of Americans in poverty are under 25 or over 65. In other words, people in the working prime of their life are very unlikely to be in poverty. Why? Because in America, there is freedom. You can get a job you like and want, do a good job and make a living. Of course, lazy people still exist. They're mostly called "poor". Take me - poor and lazy. I could work two jobs but I choose to read and study and struggle from paycheck to paycheck.
Of course I "know" this... Ive read those books too... Complete nonesense... there is simply not that massive poverty, that extreme lack of possibility in Sweden as in USA... carpe diem.. MY ASS
You really need to stop usings book and theories from before 2000... one would think that you would accept the "objects" that dont lie... America debt is growing and growing... more people are getting poor... the poor are getting poorer...
I'm from Sweden. Well, obviously no rational person would argue that the Scandinavian countries are more productive than the US. Even so, the Scandinavian countries are pretty productive, but why? The two major factors are: 1. The degree of capitalism that after all does exist. 2. Technology imports from the US.
