@Rich28594 cause wakesurfing is not wakeboarding my friend, you need to be 1-2 metres behind the boat as it does not go more than 5-7 mph to create the largest wake to surf on. intended ONLY for inline prop boats so that you run no risk of falling into the prop

@ZLKeeper the speed and distance of the boat and tow are entirely dependant upon the hull form and its subsequent displacement speed. and it is ot only safe for inline drive and is very successfully managed on o/b and sterndrives/

My guess is he got tossed around a bit but I would be curious to hear what happened. We did a MythBusters this summer with watermelons at all speeds and we had to work hard to get a nick out of the watermelon. We litterally had to run over the melon to get damage with an 18 foot I/O.
