@azncoolz I disliked In Search Of Solid Ground. Don't get me wrong, it was still well-written and I enjoyed every song on it. But the melodies and lyrics of the album set a dark, depressing mood instead of a passionate, fierce atmosphere.

@020stevenleu Ah yeah I understand exactly what you mean. So is there any other bands that you suggest that have a passionate, fierce atmospere around it? Any good bands in general that was like the old Self titled? IMO, there is no other band like that album. The drummer is very unique, the basslines are funky and justins guitar riff skills are sick as hell. Don't forget Cove's lyrics, but his voice live became shit.

he probably had a really nice monitor to hear himself sing, too. Which explains the great vocals. It does not sound auto-tuned or pitch corrected. Many great singers sing great on albums because the engineers can make it so they can actually HEAR themselves sing amidst the instruments. Likewise, if you have good live engineers, they will know this holds true for MANY vocalists.

@KYOOBED they didnt pitch correct him for this. youd be able to tell. theres no realtime pitch correction hardware that can cover it up like you can do on a computer. hed have to use a realtime pitch correction module in which case he would just sound like tpain. he just sang this song really well. watch the other videos from this show. he doesnt sing them as well.

@ColeMessner you realize they record the line outs of the PA, and mix the audience sound in during mixdown...not saying they did, but its very common to autotune live dvd releases... -
