Everyone seems to be asking if Nero is Dante's son. That's impossible, guys. Think about how old Dante is & compare it to Nero. Nero is 18-20 in DMC4. Dante is like, I think, 29. 'Cause 10 years passed after DMC3 resulting in DMC4. So, to clarify this, Nero is NOT Dante's son. There is such thing as a look-alike in the world. There are millions of people & there's bound to be lots of them on the planet, & it just so happens that Nero & Dante have such a resemblance between each other.

@X0LinksLoverGirl0X i think that Nero is Vergil's son because Nero has such a connection to Yamato, which was Vergil's sword before it was destroyed. I believe that Dante is Nero's uncle in reference to Dante calling Nero "kid" all the time. I think that Dante knows he's related to Nero but who knows. This is just info i got a while back

By buying Blue Orbs and finding Blue Orb Fragments. Play the game further and you can play as Dante.

You start playing as Dante when you progress through the game.

Dante and VIRGIL are brothers.

The Spirit that resides in the Yamato is Virgil's power. Virgil Dies in DMC1, when Dante finishes him in Mission 17.

And I know that about Vergil and Dante, beaten all DMCs for 10+ times each.
