The music of Rome Total War is really good, other games dont pay enough attention to the power of good game music. The only other game that has maybe even better music is Final Fantasy VII.

The music in Roman Total War is very creative. Divinitas is a lovely piece sung by the composer's wife. But in this piece, the Roman victory, Jeff Van Dyck has captured the essence of the exultation in victory and set it to music. Most soundtracks of major feature films do not even come close to what Van Dyck has done for this simple video game. Having played RTW now for almost four years, I can say that without the music it just wouldn't be half as fun.

@seusgordo RTW is so awesome, I could never get off it! I played for three months, for a few hours a day, most of the time 7 days a week. That was during the summer, of course, but it was great!
