They didnt even clean it for her . I got my second ear piercing done at claires & they did it with a gun too . It took it almost a year to heal & still healing now . But i would like a cartilage . When i got my piercing , they cleaned it for me .

People need to shut up!!!!! I live in Logan and got mine done with gun at walmart it turned out fine!!!!! Just ask any piercer that has been doing it for 9 years!! My piercer was amazing!!! Omg I think I made my point that it is just a myth about the gun. :)

This is bad. First of all it was done with a gun, it should be a needle because a gun will shatter the cartilidge so you should expect this to take up to a year to heal. (I did mine myself by just pushing an earring in). Which hurt but I'm sure it healed faster than this. Second she played with it afterwards without cleaning her hands.

Got my cartilage done about 3-4 weeks ago with a gun. It's absolutely fine. I had the same worries about it shattering, so I asked the man an he said they were all myths and there is nothing to worry about when getting it done with a gun.

just wanna say piercing with a gun is totally fine. i had both mine done with a gun on the same ear and both are perfect. the guy said its all just a load of rubbish that it can shatter

I would not recommend getting it done with a gun.

I've had three cartilage piercings, all with needles and I definitely think it's better. A friend of mine got his with a gun and it is unsanitary and if you want a hoop they won't let you have one right away (they did when I got mine with needle though)

yeah don't go back to that piercing place , she pierced your cartilage with a gun ( that seriously can do fuck loads of damage) and gunned her glove to the back of your ear.

Yup you're suppose to do it with an autoclave, not a peircing gun because it can cause severe ear tissue damage and cause infections..

There's nothing wrong with getting your cartilage piercing with a gun, it won't shutter, cartilage isn't bone... it bends.

wow that's why everyone says that the people at Claire's and the piercing pagoda aren't trained- they are stupid enough that they would accidentally pierce the earring into their glove, going into the person's ear. wow.

Haha i just got mine done two days ago, it doesn't hurt at all really, i think it hurts worse a few days after if you bump it then the initial piercing itself XD
