I own a little schipperke called Adie and she sits the exact same way. Rarely will I ever see her sit any differently. She's bottom heavy and my partner and I always make fun of her for having a Beyonce bum! Even stranger still she begs the exact same way, with her butt tucked under. Does Percy do this as well?

Thanks for your note. Our vet has assured us that the sitting itself isn't harmful, though you're right that Frenchies are prone to joint issues. We keep him fit and trim for that very reason. (Percy, not the vet.)

@maxmurphy100 Percy loves playing with pugs. Once a week he goes to this all-day play thing, and more often than not we hear he's been spending his time romping with the other pugs and frenchies there. Maybe something about the similar facial features reminds him of his littermates?

we have a little french bulldog and he does 90% of the same things Percy does! Super cute breed, very friendly and easy going, perfect dog for a young family, but you have to take special care of these little buddies! The sitting and sleeping position that Percy displays is very common in French Bulldogs, again, SUPER cute breed with just the best personalities.
