In fact, they have already begin the preparations necessary for the sequel since two months ago. And according to the company, the true sequel will air in late 2007 or early 2008.
According to Choi, Kae-yung (one of the executives at the company), "To be quite truthful, Group Eight, the company who is in charge of Goong S, have expressed a strong desire to participate in the production of the sequel of Goong season 1," he said, "but when the replacement of Eight Peaks staffs took place, we have not heard of anything regarding Goong 2 from Group Eight at all.
i dunno,,,but im actually glad it season one's cast havent made season 2. season 1 was OK, butim soooooo excited about season 2 because its got a fresh, young image.
I think season 1 was for older people because all the ladies at my church exchanged the manwha and dvd but season 2 is for the younger guys...

as of now, the Goong 2 with Se7en will is changed to Goong-S and the producers of Goong is discussing on making a real Goong 2 with the original cast because of the uproar that the fans... not so sure but hopefully they're gonna push through with it...
is they push through with the original cast - and i know i've been buffeted many time about endless storyline possiblities - what do you think the new goong would be like, if they make it with the same cast?
I agree with the others on here though - no one can replace the original cast i think.
I can agree with Se7en and Shin-Hye (mainly because Se7en we don't know if he has acting potential like Bi or not, and Shin-Hye is a proven actress), but the other 2 leads...I don't know if I can agree with that, one has been in one movie (the female lead), while the other guy is a HORRIBLE actor, he sucks, believe me, I have seen it.

aww this sucks the cast of goong 1 was way better then for goong 2. I mean maybe they arent bad but goong wont be the same with the old cast. Hmm did they just wanna change it or did the actors not wanna play in it any more
For me if "Ju Ji Hoon is out in the cast of Goong
Princes Season 2 it will be totally different, I love
their tandem. Yoon Eun Hye & Ju Ji Hoon they
are really lovely couple that makes the viewers
touch & feel their love story...They are the best!...

will probably happen in the future!
