Shinhwa will have a reunion concert and album release sometime in March 2012 in time for their 14th year anniversary. finally, our long wait will be over.

@slimnewme Yes they are. Shinhwa as a group has been inactive for a few years now because each member had to do their required military service. All the members have completed their service except for Minwoo. He'll be discharged in about one month or so. The other members are preparing an album and waiting for Minwoo so that way he can work on his parts. Shinhwa is planning an official comeback as a group sometime in March of 2012

It's never been proved. But yes, there was a rumor about it 5 yrs ago, because of the news article that said Andy committed suicide by swallowing too many pills. Although the article later corrected it that Andy just took painkiller cuz he was sick, the rumor kept going around.

I love shinhwa, they are like brothers. Out of a lotta boybands, from american to japanese, i rarely see a group so close. The only kinds of groups where people are usually really close are rap groups. But looks at g-unit, really close but if someone defies 50, it's over.

Actually they never split up. It's just that, after Shinhwa left SM, their new management took a different approach, arranging solo activities for all the members ie. solo albums, MC, and acting. But the bottom line was that they were still Shinhwa.

Group S (Hyesung, KangTa, and Lee Jihoon), was a project group that those three decided to do because they're good friends and have similar tastes in music.

yeah minwoo has two solo albums and so does hyesung, but they said they will always stay together as shinhwa [because they will all eventually go to serve in the military for a few years]
